If there’s one thing we know about Trader Joe’s, it’s that the store’s snacks are top-tier. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, the shelves are always stocked with unique candy and seasonal baked goods. And if savory snacks are your go-to, you probably already know that the snack mixes and potato chips are second to none. But one thing we can’t get enough of: Trader Joe’s refrigerated dips.

Earlier this year, the grocery chain launched Whipped Feta Spread and Caesar Salad Dip, which became instant favorites. Over the summer, TJ’s dropped Ranch Cottage Cheese Dip, which gave us a tasty new way to hit our protein goals.

Now, Trader Joe’s shoppers have spotted yet another crave-worthy find, and fans say it reminds them of two beloved party appetizers in one delicious dip.

Trader Joe’s New Spicy & Sweet Creamy Pepper Dip

Trader Joe’s Spicy & Sweet Creamy Pepper Dip just landed in stores. The new offering starts with a Neufchâtel cheese base and blends piquillo peppers, jalapeños, and fire-roasted red bell peppers into a rich, smooth spread. According to the Trader Joe’s product description, the heat won’t overwhelm your palate; instead, the cane sugar works against the spicy elements to create a balanced bite.

You can pair this dip with all of your favorite crackers and pretzels, or use it as a flavorful addition to sandwiches and veggie wraps.

In a Reddit thread devoted to the limited-time find, fans tried to pinpoint the inspiration for the new product. “Seems like it’s inspired by the party appetizer where you pour sweet chili sauce or pepper jam on cream cheese. I’m excited to try,” said one person.

“It tastes like someone mixed the TJ’s sweet chili sauce into a queso/pimento dip, and I am very much here for it!” exclaimed another.

Many offered pairing ideas for the spicy new spread. “This is awesome with the sourdough rye chips,” wrote one user. “Dipped raw green peppers in it. Nice balance of cheesy, peppery, sweetness!” added another.

For those curious about the texture, a Redditor who tried the dip offered insight. “From the fridge, it’s more like a thick queso or pimento cheese dip type consistency with a dash of sweet chili sauce,” they wrote.

According to the store’s website, Trader Joe’s Spicy & Sweet Creamy Pepper Dip is expected to be on shelves through the end of fall, so if you plan to serve this over the holiday season, be sure to stock up and freeze a few tubs before it disappears.
