Trying new beverages is probably one of my favorite pastimes. Whether I’m enjoying a seasonal iced latte from the nearest coffee shop or popping open a can of the latest soda flavor, I’m always sipping on something new.
Tea has always been high on my list of preferred sips, stemming from when my mom would make me a warm mug of herbal tea before stressful school days. My grandparents also kept their fridge stocked with Snapple Peach Iced Tea, back when the drink was still sold in glass bottles.
Speaking of Snapple, the brand has some competition with a better-for-you canned tea taking over the refrigerator aisles—and I was all too excited to give it a try.
Halfday Iced Teas Offer a Refreshing and Gut-Healthy Sip

With its vibrant and eye-catching cans, I couldn’t resist adding a few cans of Halfday Iced Tea to my cart while stocking up on groceries.
Beyond aesthetics, the teas are marketed as a healthier alternative to bottled teas and beverages. Each can has between 3 and 5 grams of sugar and 30 to 40 calories, depending on the flavor. Plus, the drinks are loaded with a gut-healthy blend of prebiotics and 6 grams of fiber, riffing on the trend of functional sodas.
When it comes to flavors, you’ll find standard herbal teas along with some fruitier pairings. The lineup includes Lemon Tea, Peach Tea, Raspberry Tea, Green Tea, Sweet Tea, and Tropical Tea. And the newest addition is Half & Half, which is a take on the tea-and-lemonade drink named after Arnold Palmer.
I was able to find the lemon, raspberry, and peach flavors at my local grocery store and loved all three drinks. Each can was subtly sweet and full of flavor, taking me back to enjoying a chilled Snapple with my grandparents.
One of our editors, Andrea Lobas, also tried several Halfday flavors and was pleasantly surprised by how much she enjoyed them. “I am typically wary of these ‘healthy’ sodas and drinks that replace sugar with erythritol sweeteners that leave that signature saccharine aftertaste,” she shared. “Halfday strikes the perfect balance, with just a touch of sweetness and fresh tea notes.”
Andrea also shared her top three Halfday picks, “I especially love the Peach Tea, Green Tea, and Half & Half, and grab them when I need an afternoon pick-me-up (and some added fiber).”
Overall, Halfday Iced Teas are a great option if you’re looking for a refreshing beverage with some added health benefits. The drinks are sold nationwide in single cans and variety packs, and you can also purchase them directly on the Halfday website where you’ll see plenty of other positive reviews. “I just ordered 6 cases and I’m not interested in drinking anything else,” one stated. Another added, “I’ve started ordering this in bulk because it is my favorite thing to drink any time of day…This is my desert island drink.”
I’m already on the lookout for the rest of the flavors to see if any become my new favorites.
