Target’s New $5 Glassware Looks Like It Came From Anthropologie—but Costs So Much Less

With the holidays quickly approaching, I’m taking a look at my holiday gift list to see if I can cross a few names off before the chaos of shopping season truly ensues. Shopping early not only prevents me from stressing, but it also often saves me money by giving me the time to hunt for discounts, sales, and lower-priced versions of the gifts I’m picking up for my loved ones. 

Last week, I snagged a few of these Bread Baking Kits from Aldi for $15 to gift to my friends who want to get into the art of sourdough. These beautiful, ribbed glasses from Dollar Tree would make a fantastic present alongside some trendy sodas and fun ice trays. Anyone would feel lucky to be gifted this new line of dinnerware from Ikea, which rivals the name-brand version, but at a smaller price. 

Point being, starting your shopping during autumn will give you enough time to think carefully about what your loved ones want, score the best deals, and save yourself a bit of stress along the way. 

That’s exactly what was on my mind when I saw these new wine glasses from Target. At just $5 a pop, I can pick up a set of four to six, grab a bottle of wine, and wrap up a stunning holiday gift for my friend who loves home decor from places like Anthropologie and Hawkins New York.  And without the name-brand price tag, there’s more gifting to go around. 

Target’s Bullseye’s Playground Ribbed Coupe Glasses 

Target’s Bullseye’s Playground—that incredibly tempting and well-placed budget section near the entrance of the store—rotates through seasonal decor, home goods, and toys. For fall, they released three ribbed coupe glasses with colored stems in green, amber, and maroon that look like they belong on the shelves of a fun but high-end retailer like Anthropologie or Urban Outfitters. Each glass is being sold for $5, and you can build your own set by selecting the same colors or picking up a few of each color. 

The glasses are 8.2 ounces and 6 inches tall. The coupe cup is made of ribbed, clear glass. It’s the perfect vessel for gorgeous cocktails, mocktails, or to serve up some ice cream or sorbet. Each glass features a stem in a rich autumnal color, with an ombre design that transitions from light to opaque toward the base.

Target’s budget section is consistently rotating, and the website already shows that these items are low in stock. So, if these glasses look like something you want to add to your (or your friend’s) bar cart, pay a visit to your local Target ASAP.
