We were about to say that Taco Bell has had a big week, but really, what week isn’t big for the Tex-Mex chain? It seems like every time we swing through the drive-thru, there’s a new menu item to try—or, in this week’s case, four new menu items to try.

The Steak & Poblano Rolled Quesadilla, which was originally announced at Live Más Live, is officially on menus nationwide, as is Taco Bell’s first-ever fan-created menu, the Fan Style Menu. The limited-time menu includes a new California Crunchwrap, Burrito Bliss, and Cantina Craze that we can’t wait to sink our teeth into.

While we’ve had Nov. 20 marked on our calendars to order these four new creations, what we didn’t expect was for Taco Bell to quietly drop eight more on the same day. The only catch? To try those eight items, you have to be living in one of three of Taco Bell’s test markets.

So, our fingers are crossed that your local Taco Bell is testing either the new Mexican Pizza Empanadas, Crunchadilla, Limonada Refrescas, or Dream Refrescas.

Taco Bell’s New Menu Tests

At Live Más Live 2025, Taco Bell promised to try out new versions of its empanada, since the Caramel Apple Empanada has had not one, but two successful menu runs in the past year. But, instead of going sweet, the geniuses over at Taco Bell have found a way to turn the fan-loved Mexican Pizza into a crispy pocket of pizza roll goodness.

The Mexican Pizza Empanada is filled with seasoned beef, a three-cheese blend, and zesty sauce before getting fried to a crispy golden brown. The empanadas are served with a side of Mexican Pizza sauce for dipping.

Taco Bell is currently testing this menu item in a 3-pack and 4-pack, as well as an option in the $9 Discovery Luxe Cravings Box with Cinnamon Twists, a fountain drink, and either a Steak Burrito Supreme + Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos combo or Creamy Chipotle Crispy Chicken Soft Taco + Seasoned Beef Chalupa Supreme combo, depending on the location.

The Mexican Pizza Empanadas are available at select restaurants in Phoenix, Arizona, now.

Taco Bell

Fans love how Taco Bell plays with crunchy textures in a classic soft shell—hence why the Crunchwrap Supreme and Cheesy Gordita Crunch are some of its most popular items. Now, the chain is testing a new crispy take on a quesadilla with the Crunchadilla.

In Oklahoma City this month, fans can try the Classic Chicken Crunchadilla and Sriracha Chicken Crunchadilla for just $2.

The Classic Chicken Crunchadilla starts with a tortilla shell filled with creamy jalapeño sauce, chicken, sour cream, and a blend of mozzarella, Pepper Jack, and Cheddar cheeses, all folded into a grilled, warm tortilla. The spicy, savory Sriracha Chicken Crunchadilla adds a layer of Taco Bell’s new Sriracha sauce to the same tortilla shell, chicken, sour cream, and cheese filling inside a grilled tortilla.

Taco Bell has been leaning heavily into its beverage offerings, thanks to its new Live Más Cafés. Now, in Knoxville, Tennessee, the chain is testing two new lines of beverages, including Dream Refrescas and Limonada Refrescas.

The Dream Refrescas play into the dirty soda trend, adding a splash of vanilla creamer to lemonade. These drinks are available in both Strawberry and Pineapple Mango flavors.

The Limonada Refrescas look more like Starbucks’ and Dunkin’s fan-favorite Refreshers. They’re a mix of freeze-dried fruit pieces with lemonade, and are available in Strawberry Passionfruit, Mango Peach, and Dragonfruit Strawberry flavors.

By now, we’re sure you know the drill: all eight menu items will be available at select locations across the test markets. You can check your Taco Bell app to see if your local restaurant has the items, and they’ll only be around for a limited time.

If you’re outside of the test markets, you’re, sadly, stuck with the rest of the country waiting for updates, but at least you have four new Taco Bell options you can actually try today.
