You’re not you when you’re hungry. Especially during the busy holiday season when it feels like you’re being pulled in 50 different directions. Between planning your holiday menus, decorating your tree, wrapping presents, and baking Christmas cookies, it’s a wonder that we even find time to seek out new holiday foods at the grocery store. Talk about a miracle on 34th Street.Â
However, when the seasonal launches are this good, we’re going to find time. The holiday candy launches alone are enough reason to head to your nearest store.
Between the Reese’s Mini Trees, Kit Kat’s new Peppermint Stick flavor, and Twix’s first-ever holiday shape, our stockings—and bellies—are going to be extra stuffed this year. And, while we appreciate a new offering, we know better than to ignore our returning favorites. Things like Reese’s Shapes, red and green M&M’s, and Sour Patch Kids Coal get brought back every year for a reason: they’re fan favorites.Â
This year, Mars is bringing back quite a few beloved holiday candies—like M&M’s Holiday Mint and Toasty Holiday Peanut. However, there’s one returning favorite that we’ve been waiting all year for: Snickers Trees.

Snickers Trees are returning for yet another holiday season, after last year’s return with a new formulation. In 2024, the candy brand took a page out of Reese’s Shapes book and gave the people what they want: less chocolate and more crunchy, gooey filling. And, boy, did it pay off.
Similar to the peanut butter-packed Reese’s shapes, Snickers Trees feature “more of the good stuff,” meaning the caramel, nougat, and roasted peanut butter filling encased in Christmas tree-shaped milk chocolate.
Snickers Trees quickly became one of our editors’ favorite candies, even winning Best New Chocolate Treat in our 2025 Golden Cart Awards.
“If you haven’t tried the Snickers Trees, you must—they are genuinely the best Snickers I’ve ever had,” Allrecipes editor Courtney Kassel says.
The Snickers Trees will be sold in a 1.1-ounce Single Size, 2.2-ounce Share Size, and a six-pack, making them perfect for stuffing stockings, filling candy dishes, and maybe even leaving out for Santa on Christmas Eve.
Snickers Trees, as well as Mars’ new candy, M&M’s Winter Blend, Twix Snowmen, and Lifesavers Gummies Holiday Shapes, and its other returning holiday favorites are hitting retailer shelves nationwide now. They’ll only be sold while supplies last this holiday season, and given that many of the Allrecipes staff have been waiting for this return, if you see us racing to the candy aisle at the grocery store, you’d better watch out!
