Sam’s Club is a fantastic option for bulk groceries, prepared meals, and baked goods, but we especially love the wholesale chain for its copycat products. In addition to name-brand deals and steals, Sam’s Club also sells a variety of look-alike snacks, desserts, and beverages under its private label: Member’s Mark. And they’re often better than the inspiration.
After loving the Checkers and Costco copycats released this year, we are absolutely stoked about the newest Member’s Mark product. Sam’s Club just dropped a look-alike of our editors’ favorite protein shake—and at a fraction of the cost.
Sam’s Club Releases New Member’s Mark Ultra-Filtered Milk Shake
It’s no secret that protein has been the food trend this year, and Fairlife has dominated the space with high-protein products, including milk, shakes, and even ice cream. Now, Sam’s Club is coming for the dairy brand with its new Member’s Mark Ultra-Filtered Milk Shake that boasts nearly identical macronutrients and, according to reviewers, an even better flavor than its competitor.
Like Fairlife’s popular Nutrition Plan Shakes, the new Sam’s Club beverage is made with ultra-filtered milk, clean ingredients, and no synthetic colors or artificial growth hormones. Plus, the smooth and creamy shakes are packed with 30 grams of protein to help fuel any lifestyle, from long work days to tough workouts. And even though the Member’s Mark version contains only two grams of sugar, fans compare the new beverage to melted vanilla ice cream when it comes to flavor and texture.
“It doesn’t have that chalky protein shake vibe,” Sam’s Club fan @samsclubfoodreview stated in an Instagram post reviewing the new bottled beverage. “It’s giving melted vanilla ice cream, but without being overly sweet.”
One commenter asked how the protein-packed shakes compare to Fairlife, and according to the Instagram creator, they might just beat out the OG. “I think they’re very similar, but I think Member’s Mark actually tastes better!” they responded, adding that the Sam’s Club copycat is “so good!”
Sam’s Club members can score a 12-pack of the shakes for just $18.98. The wholesale chain also sells cases of Fairlife for $22.66, but you can save about four bucks if you opt for the Member’s Mark copycat. And since the look-alike has been dubbed superior to the OG, it’s a win-win.
