During all my years at Allrecipes, I’ve waxed poetic about quite a few Sam’s Club products, from the Member’s Mark Chocolate Peppermint Almonds (which a birdie has told me will return this holiday season) to the Member’s Mark Dark Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookie Chunks and every amazing deal in between. I even have a whole list of items I can’t leave the store without (literally, you can read it here).Â
However, out of every item on that list, there is one product that I’m notorious for loving: the sushi. Before you scoff about Sam’s Club sushi, know that I’ve turned quite a few sushi lovers into Sam’s Club converts over the years—including our own Nicole McLaughlin.Â
Recently, Sam’s Club made a huge announcement regarding its sushi—and it’s one that I’m pretty excited about.Â
Sam’s Club is rebranding its sushi line to fall under its Member’s Mark private label.
Sam’s Club Is Rebranding Its Sushi Line
Sam’s Club
Ok, so what does that mean for my beloved sushi? Only that Sam’s Club is leaning even harder into the offering.Â
Sam’s sushi is getting the Member’s Mark stamp, which means each roll follows its “Made Without” commitment, omitting more than 40 ingredients, including artificial colors, aspartame, and high-fructose corn syrup. However, despite the new name, the store will still employ the same experts at FujiSan to make the rolls—so the sushi will now be labeled as “Member’s Mark by FujiSan.”
The club store is investing more into the line of fresh sushi by remodeling its kiosks, ensuring that you see the trained chefs and the rolls they’re working on. It also plans to introduce new, regional rolls based on customer preferences at that club—which is already showcased by the jalapeño tuna rolls in Texas and the poke-style offerings in Hawaii.Â
To kick off the refresh, Sam’s Club is releasing a new Nara Tray, which joins its existing Kobe Sushi Tray. The new 40-piece tray is priced at just $25 and includes Vegetarian Tempura Rolls, Dragon Rolls, California Crunch Rolls, and Spicy Tuna Mango Rolls.Â
Lastly, following the success of its hot café pizza delivery announcement, Sam’s Club has expanded its delivery services to include fresh foods, too. That means you can order everything from a sushi tray to the Member’s Mark Chicken Pot Pie directly to your doorstep.
Sam’s says this is just the first step in its new sushi “movement,” so if you haven’t jumped on the Member’s Mark Sushi bandwagon just yet, there’s never been a better time to do so.
