Red Lobster has been a popular place to enjoy delicious seafood in a casual environment. The restaurant has been around for years, gaining a reputation for its varied dishes and, my personal favorite, the mouthwatering Cheddar Bay Biscuits.

After a close call with bankruptcy in 2024, the seafood chain has made a strong comeback with seasonal deals for those dining at the restaurant as well as store-bought options, which lets you get your Red Lobster fix at home. The last few months have been packed with tasty new menu items, and the latest drop is certainly no exception.

Red Lobster Just Made Its Seafood Boils a Permanent Menu Item

Good news: The viral seafood boils are here to stay. Red Lobster first announced the addition during the summer as part of its annual Crabfest. In response to customer feedback, the restaurant released a revamped version in July, offering even more flavor and customization options. Now, the popular menu item is earning a spot on the official menu, along with some tasty new seasonings.

To refresh your memory, the seafood boils come in two varieties: the Mariner’s Boil and the Sailor’s Boil. The Mariner’s Boil features a Maine lobster tail, a dozen shrimp, and snow crab legs, along with corn and tender red potatoes. The Sailor’s Boil skips the lobster and crab and instead features a tasty mix of smoked sausage and shrimp, along with the standard corn and red potatoes.

Initially, diners could choose from four flavors—Roasted Garlic Butter, Old Bay, Cajun Butter, and Old Bay & Parmesan—and add Cajun Sausage, if preferred. Now, the line has expanded to include three new versions: Lemon Pepper Butter, Old Bay & Butter, and RL Signature Butter.

The Lemon Pepper Butter adds a fresh and peppery kick to your meal. Meanwhile, the Old Bay & Butter flavor is rich, savory, and buttery. Lastly, the RL Signature Butter combines all seven seasoning options for the ultimate burst of delicious flavor.

If you’re not a fan of seafood boils, don’t fret. There are two new items that might be more your style. Joining the “Plenty Under $20” line are the Shrimp & Sausage Jambalaya and the Shrimp Scampi Linguini.

Of course, your meal wouldn’t be complete without a delicious beverage. Fortunately, Red Lobster has three new cocktails that are perfect for the upcoming holidays. Try the Under the Mistletoe cocktail, which blends Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon, cranberry juice, and blackberry, garnished with rosemary.

Or go for a sweeter beverage with the Sugar Cookie Martini, featuring Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, RumChata, Amaretto, and a holiday sugar-rim. Lastly, fans can enjoy the returning favorite Snow Globe cocktail, a shimmery drink featuring St-Germain Elderflower, Barefoot Moscato, white cranberry juice, and Starry, garnished with a cranberry.

While the beloved seafood boils are thankfully here to stay, the holiday cocktails are only available for a limited time. All the new items drop on Nov. 10, so make sure to head to your nearest Red Lobster to get in on the delicious new flavors.
