Pillsbury has done it again. It’s not like we’re surprised, though. The brand has a reputation for exciting products, like its Flaky Caramel Rolls and Lucky Charms Sugar Cookies. And we can’t forget about its convenient baking mixes, like the Funfetti lineup, which effortlessly brighten any special occasion.

Earlier this year, Pillsbury expanded the fan-favorite collection with Funfetti Celebrations, a kit that includes enough sprinkles to coat an entire cake. And recently, the brand brought back two colorful Halloween-inspired Funfetti cake mixes, plus released Funfetti Spiderweb Swirl, a new seasonal brownie mix.

Now, Pillsbury is launching an adorable new mix that’s sure to catch the attention of bakers of all ages.

Pillsbury Launches Snowman-Inspired Cake Mix and Frosting

This fall, a new Pillsbury baking mix and frosting combo is headed to shelves. Pillsbury Funfetti Melted Snowman Blue & White Vanilla Swirl Cake Mix includes two pouches of cake mix, one blue and one white, that bakers can layer into a winter-inspired swirl.

Similar to the brand’s other cake mixes, all you need is eggs, oil, and water to make this festive treat. You can bake it into a 13×9-inch cake, in rounds, or as party-perfect cupcakes. If you’ve never made a marble cake before, don’t worry, it’s easier than it looks. Especially in this case, because Pillsbury has taken all the guesswork out of separating the batter and adding color.

And what’s a cake without frosting? For this launch, Pillsbury is also releasing Funfetti Melted Snowman Whipped Blue Vanilla Frosting with Sprinkles. You can effortlessly top off your winter wonderland cake with a fluffy frosting the whole family will love. Each container includes plenty of snowman-inspired sprinkles to top your creation.

Food Insider @markie_devo shared the find on Instagram and commenters didn’t hold back their excitement. “Omg this is so cute. I want some,” wrote one fan. “Yes I would love to try these just in time for Christmas,” commented another. One person made a playful reference to the Disney movie “Frozen,” writing, “Do you wanna bake a snowmannnn?”

A couple Instagrammers mentioned that they wished the cake was something other than vanilla. Luckily, a few drops of flavoring can fix that. While not all extracts sufficiently impart flavor, there are a few, including peppermint extract and almond extract, that make a great addition. Remember, baking mixes are convenient shortcuts, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make them your own.

Pillsbury’s melted snowman cake mix and frosting will hit major retailers in November and be available through the end of the year, so you can bake up a snow storm all season long.
