Perdue Just Launched Holiday-Shaped Nuggets—and We’re Leaving a Plate Out for Santa

Whether you order at the drive-thru, buy in bulk at Costco, or make chicken nuggets at home, you can’t go wrong with this iconic breaded bite—especially when it’s dipped in your favorite sauce. But lately, Tyson has given us a reason to opt for grocery store nuggets, as the brand continues to release new shapes.

First, the freezer aisle got football-shaped nuggets for fall. Then, Tyson dropped turkey-shaped nuggets just in time for Thanksgiving. But now, Perdue has entered the nugget shape chat, and it’s created some serious competition with four new festive nuggets perfect for the holiday season.

Perdue Launches New Holiday Nuggets

Say hello to Perdue’s new Holiday Nuggets. The festive shapes are made with premium white meat and come in four new shapes: a candy cane, a Christmas tree, a gingerbread man, and a stocking. These new nuggets are perfect to have on hand during the busy holiday season, whether you need a quick bite that’s packed with protein, one more dish to round out your Christmas party spread, or a cookie decorating alternative for the kids. As the package suggests, ketchup makes the perfect condiment for decorating these jolly little nuggets.

But there’s a big catch.

Holiday Nuggets aren’t heading to stores. The only way you can get a bag is by being one of the first 250 people to visit Perdue’s website on Friday, Nov. 28, at noon ET and enter the official giveaway. Winners will receive a bag of the holiday-shaped nuggets as well as a collectible Perdue holiday plate and a festive audio card. 

If you miss the giveaway this month, there’s one more chance to score these nuggets. Fans can also show how creative they can get in the kitchen by entering Perdue’s Instagram recipe contest, which starts Dec. 1. The brand is encouraging its followers to share their nugget-inspired holiday dishes for a chance to win one of two $500 gift cards and a bag of Holiday Nuggets.
