When fall strikes, it seems to be pumpkin spice latte this, pumpkin spice latte that, but where’s the love for the apple-flavored drinks of fall? Even Starbucks axed its only apple-flavored drink in place of a new Pecan Cortado this season.
Apple drinks don’t usually get much love beyond a hot mug of apple cider at the pumpkin patch during the autumn. However, years ago, PepsiCo gave apple fans just the fall beverage they’d been craving: an apple-flavored sparkling water by Bubly.Â
Apple Bubly launched with the sparkling water brand’s original release back in 2018, but, since then, the flavor has been slightly elusive—and the Olipop Crisp Apple prebiotic soda just doesn’t hit the same.Â
Fans tend to find the beloved Apple Bubly here and there, but it hasn’t officially been back on shelves for years—much to many customers’ dismay.Â
“Apple Bubly was an elixir of the gods, and I need it back ASAP. Do we think they will ever bring it back,” one fan on Reddit posted.Â
Well, dear Redditor, your question has been answered two years later. Yes, Bubly will bring the flavor back—and you’ll probably never guess why.
PepsiCo Brings Back Apple Bubly for a Limited Time
Bubly
This fall, Apple Bubly is making a triumphant return—and it’s all thanks to an unlikely collaboration. Bubly and Apple Bottoms by Nelly have teamed up to rerelease both the apple-flavored sparkling water and Apple Bottom jeans, complete with the signature apple-shaped pocket that Flo Rida was singing about.Â
On Sept. 18, PepsiCo and Apple Bottoms are bringing back Apple Bubly and introducing new Apple Bubly Jeans made by the clothing brand. The Apple Bubly will be the same fan-loved sparkling water, made with no calories and no sweeteners, in an all-new Apple Bottoms-inspired, denim-designed can.Â
The new can is made to look great in your pair of Apple Bubly Jeans by Apple Bottoms, which has apple-shaped pockets big enough to fit your Bubly. Plus, the pockets are stitched with “Apple” and “Bubly” in script so you can show off your favorite Bubly flavor loud and proud.Â
The limited-edition denim drop will go live on AppleBottoms.com on Sept. 18, where you can purchase a case of Apple Bubly, a pair of jeans, and a slew of other Y2K-themed extras (think patches, key chains, and a clutch) in a bundle for $79.
Bubly’s apple-flavored seltzer won’t actually be hitting retailer shelves this year, so, if you want to get your hands on this limited-time return, you’ll have to order it as part of the Apple Bottoms bundle.Â
Now, the question remains: How “low, low, low, low” can we get with a can of Bubly in our Apple Bubly Apple Bottoms?
