It is, officially, one of our favorite times of the year! No, it’s no one’s birthday, nor is it a holiday (though maybe it should be). Instead, it’s the week that our sister brand People declares one person the Sexiest Man Alive.Â
Over the years, we’ve seen everyone from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to John Krasinski and George Clooney claim the title—and 2025’s results are finally in. We’re going from a John to a Jonathan with People’s 2025 Sexiest Man Alive: Jonathan Bailey.Â
The past two years have seemed to be some of the biggest of Bailey’s career as he rode the high from his standout season in “Bridgerton” right to one of the most successful movies of 2024, “Wicked.” But (no rest for the wicked, and all) this year might have been even busier—with a starring role in “Jurassic World: Rebirth,” a stint as Richard II on London’s West End, and, of course, the highly anticipated release of the “Wicked” sequel “Wicked: For Good” in November.
Yet, the British actor still had time to pose for his cover shoot as People’s Sexiest Man Alive (pictures found here, for those inquiring minds).
But what keeps a Sexiest Man Alive fueled for dancing through life? The same breakfast every morning, apparently.
Jonathan Bailey’s Favorite 2-Ingredient Breakfast
In an interview with GQ, Bailey shared that one of the 10 things he can’t live without is muesli. For those unfamiliar, muesli is a cereal created by a Swiss doctor in the ’50s that’s similar to granola. The dish can contain oats, nuts, seeds, and dried fruits. However, unlike granola, muesli doesn’t contain added sugar, and it’s not typically cooked before serving.Â
Bailey says that he eats muesli with milk—either oat or almond milk—and a spoon. And it’s so ingrained in his routine that he even brings a jar with him wherever he travels.Â
“Wherever I go, I have a massive stash of muesli,” he said. “I’m not really fussy about the milk part or the bowl or the spoon, but the muesli I’m hyper-fussy about.”
He later told Vogue that he makes his own granola for breakfast.Â
“I’m obsessed with breakfast, especially oats. I just love a seed,” he said.
So, maybe muesli and granola are more interchangeable than we thought—and that means that your recipe options are truly unlimited. Either way, it doesn’t get much more wickedly simple than a quick bowl of muesli or granola in the morning.
