Last week’s five most-saved recipes could be a menu in and of themselves. Granted, the menu would be a little eccentric, but there’s no doubt the food would be delicious. To get the night started, Cowboy Sliders, followed by restaurant-style fried rice to serve as a side. For the main course, choose between two unique twists on classic recipes. This past week, our top recipe was a chewy, gooey cookie perfect for baking season this fall. See what the Allrecipes community couldn’t stop saving last week.

Cowboy Sliders

Peyton Beckwith

“I came across this recipe on accident but I’m glad I did because it’s delicious!” says reviewer AceAcai7853. “My kids absolutely loved it and they’re picky little things.”

Cowboy Butter Spaghetti

Allrecipes / Sonia Bozzo

“Turn humble buttered noodles into cowboy butter spaghetti,” says Allrecipes Allstar LaDonna Langwell. “Spicy compound butter and cream combine in a sauce for spaghetti that can be a side dish as it is, or you can add chicken, bacon, shrimp, or vegetables and make it a main.”

Lemon Marry Me Chicken

“I thought this recipe was very easy to make, yet plated up like something much more elaborate,” says reviewer Dennis Dunwoodie. “While I love the ‘regular’ version of Marry Me Chicken, I dial way back on the sun-dried tomatoes because I find them overpowering. Here, the lemon makes a nice flavorful substitute, while the sauce still retains the Parmesan and basil notes. A single recipe made enough sauce to coat the chicken plus about a half-pound of linguine noodles.”

Easy Fried Rice

Dotdash Meredith Food Studios

“This fried rice recipe only takes 15 minutes to cook and tastes just like you get at your favorite Chinese restaurant,” says Allrecipes member jostrander. “Leftover rice, plus a couple of eggs, baby carrots, peas, and soy sauce is all you need. Garnish with sliced green onions, if desired.”

Chewy Brown Butter Banana Cookies

Kim SHupe

“These chewy brown butter banana cookies have a flavor reminiscent of banana bread,” says Allrecipes Allstar Kim. “The cookies will soften as they sit at room temp—so, to help them maintain their chewy texture, keep the extras stored in an airtight container in the fridge.”
