My Favorite Restaurant-Style Appetizer Just Hit Shelves at Aldi

Every week, there’s something new to discover at Aldi. The retailer keeps its shelves stocked with money-saving kitchenware and budget-friendly meals the whole family will love. What draws me in time and time again, however, is the store’s frozen food section.

The small but well-stocked freezers are packed to the brim with fan favorites, such as Aldi’s Kimbap and Kirkwood brand breaded chicken fillets (also known as Red Bag Chicken), plus hidden gems like Crispy Potato Circles and Frozen Cotton Candy Grapes, to name a few.

Recently, I was thrilled to learn that one of my favorite frozen appetizers is now available at Aldi, and I’m already making room in my freezer.

Aldi Now Carries Brazi Bites Cheese Bread 

Aldi shoppers can now snag Brazi Bites Cheddar & Parmesan Brazilian Cheese Bread, a cheesy, gluten-free snack you’ll only wish you tried sooner. The bites are inspired by Brazilian pão de queijo, a pillowy appetizer you may have seen served at Brazilian steakhouses. Brazi Bites are made with simple, straightforward ingredients including tapioca flour, a gluten-free flour alternative. Additionally, the bites feature Cheddar and Parmesan cheeses to creates a delightful savory flavor.

Each 11.5-ounce bag contains about 18 bites, which are frozen individually and can be portioned out to your liking. Even better, this poppable cheese bread is air fryer-friendly. In just 15 minutes, you can enjoy it as a satisfying snack or effortless appetizer. 

In a recent Reddit thread, one shopper shared their thoughts on the cheesy bites. “These are fantastic,” they wrote. “I’m used to the Fogo de Chão cheese bread puff things, and these are super duper close. I had an inkling they might be, so I bought two bags.”

“Oooh I love these, but they’re usually a little spendy at normal grocery stores. Hoping for a deal at Aldi,” added another. 

The Aldi website lists the price at $5.49, though prices may vary by location. And while it may not be a huge savings compared to other retailers that carry the product, we know that cents can really add up, especially at Aldi.
