Anyone who has ever hosted family knows that it’s not easy to please everyone. However, over the years, I’ve found one beverage brand we can all agree on: Sparkling Ice. For those unfamiliar, Sparkling Ice is a fruity, carbonated beverage brand owned by Talking Rain Beverage Co., which is also the company behind the new soda brand Popwell.

What my family loves most about Sparkling Ice is the range of flavors, including Classic Lemonade, Orange Mango, Black Cherry, and Coconut Pineapple. There’s something for everyone. And if you’re not a fan of seltzer with subtle fruit notes, such as La Croix and Bubly, you might prefer the Sparkling Ice true-to-its-name taste instead.

In addition to the brand’s classics, you can also find a caffeinated lineup on shelves. Sparkling Ice Caffeine comes in just a handful of flavors, each loaded with 70 milligrams of caffeine. For reference, this amount is slightly less than the average eight-ounce cup of coffee.

Recently, I was thrilled to see that Sparkling Ice is expanding its boosted lineup with an all-new option inspired by a nostalgic soda—but you might have to wait if you want to try it.

Sparkling Ice Launches New Cherry Cola Flavor

Sparkling Ice Caffeine Cherry Cola just landed on shelves. The new drink captures the sweet, nostalgic taste of cherry cola in a lighter, sparkling water form. Each 16-ounce can contains zero sugar and only uses color and flavor from natural sources.

In a recent press release, the company stated that sparkling water is a drink category that’s growing quickly. With this launch, the brand is thrilled to connect fans with its own version of a familiar-tasting beverage. “The fizzy, fruity-meets-cola combo hits just right, both classic and new at the same time,” said Chelsea Sobran, Talking Rain’s Vice President of Convenience Channel.

Sparkling Ice isn’t the first company this year to drop a new cherry cola-inspired product. In June, the beloved ’80s soda brand Slice launched a low-sugar version with a gut-healthy spin. And soon after, Diet Cherry Coke returned to shelves, a comeback we’ve been waiting to enjoy for years. Not to mention, a cherry cola-flavored candy recently popped up in stores, too.

For now, fans of the fruity cola combo can find Sparkling Ice Caffeine Cherry Cola at Casey’s. But if you don’t live near one, don’t worry. Next year, the product will hit shelves at additional retailers as part of its permanent lineup.
