Nothing cements the changing months like seeing Little Debbie’s iconic treats on shelves. The nostalgic snack cake brand drops a crave-worthy lineup for every season, including butterfly-shaped bites for spring, fruity cake rolls for summer, and spooky brownies for fall. And while it may only be October, Little Debbie is already gearing up for Christmas.

Recently, the McKee Foods-owned company launched a festive coffee creamer that tastes like your favorite red-and-white treat. Now, it’s bringing back a popular chocolate snack cake that fans feared was discontinued after it was missing from shelves last year.

Little Debbie’s Chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes Are Finally Back

One of Little Debbie’s best snack cakes is headed back to stores. After missing the 2024 holiday season, Little Debbie Chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes will be back in stock this year. That’s right, you can once again dive into the layers of rich chocolate cake and decadent chocolate frosting that form each festive tree.

Last year, the sprinkle-topped cakes were not available, leaving many fans disappointed. In a comment thread on Facebook the brand noted that supply chain issues were to blame. “The Chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes have not been discontinued,” wrote a representative. “Due to a global shortage in cocoa, we have made the difficult decision to not produce Little Debbie Chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes this year. This allows continued production of our other chocolate-flavored products.”

Little Debbie’s Chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes are not only returning for 2025, but they’re expected to make a comeback well ahead of the holiday season, so you have plenty of time to snag a few boxes. In a recent Instagram post, food insider @markie_devo shared a photo of the upcoming lineup, and eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out the treat in question. “The Chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes are back! I’ll finally get to try one, hopefully,” wrote one user. “Somebody heard my prayers,” commented another.

According to the post, the find has already started popping up in stores and is expected to roll out through the end of October, though availability may vary by location. Be sure to check retailers where Little Debbie holiday snacks are typically found such as Walmart and Kroger, but don’t delay–we have a feeling these are going to sell out very quickly.
