Jimmy John’s Just Dropped a New M&M’s-Filled Treat Perfect for the Holidays

Jimmy John’s has been on a roll all year long and the chain shows no signs of slowing down. JJ’s kicked off 2025 with a soup inspired by one of our favorite zingy sauces and three new toasted sandwiches to keep us cozy through the coldest season of the year. More recently, Pizza Toasted Sandwiches hit menus, and we also saw the return of the Picklewich, a divisive menu item that we can’t help but love.

Now, the chain is back at it again, but this time with a sweet treat to top off your meal. And spoiler alert: It’s filled with a beloved holiday candy.

Jimmy John’s Introduces New Holiday Magic Cookie With M&M’s

Starting Nov. 24, the Jimmy John’s Holiday Magic Cookie will be available to guests nationwide. In true holiday fashion, the cookies begin with a sweet sugar cookie base. Red and green chocolate M&M’s are folded into the dough, dotting each cookie with festive color. Finally, they are dusted with a sparkling winter sprinkle mix to give each cookie a subtle shimmer reminiscent of fresh fallen snow.

“The holidays are meant for slowing down, savoring the moment, and treating yourself and those you care for,” said Kelly Morena, Director of Category Management at Jimmy John’s. “Together with M&M’s, we’ve baked up a cookie that’s as fun and festive as the season itself, packed with vibrant color, joy, and a touch of holiday magic.”

In a recent Reddit thread, fans shared their thoughts on the new dessert option. “I actually really like it! Simple but good! I like mine warmed up. [It’s a] a great cookie for the holidays, honestly,” wrote one Redditor. However, one person was critical of the treat, calling it the “least inspired” Jimmy John’s cookie.

Many quickly came to the cookie’s defense. “I get that, but sometimes simple is good,” replied one Redditor. “I don’t like raisins, and there is way too much chocolate in their chocolate chip cookies for my tastes, so this sounds perfect,” added another.
