No matter how many new products hit shelves, sometimes you just can’t beat the nostalgic flavors of past foods. Whether you grew up in the ā€˜80s sipping Gatorade Citrus Cooler, the ā€˜90s dunking KFC chicken in Original Honey BBQ Sauce, or the early ā€˜00s when Taco Bell was slinging Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos, there’s always that one discontinued food you wish would make a comeback. And occasionally, they do.Ā

General Mills is one company that’s always pulling on our nostalgic heartstrings with its releases. Sometimes, it’s through a partnership, like the Grinch Pillsbury Shapes and new Grinch Cereal, while other times it’s by bringing back products from our childhoods.

After relaunching the ’60s favorite, Twinkles, and Golden Grahams S’mores from the ’80s, now General Mills is bringing back a beloved cereal from the 2000s—and fans are shouting “finally!”

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Peanut Butter cereal is headed back to shelves for the first time in nearly a decade. The cereal combines savory peanut butter with Cinnamon Toast Crunch’s signature CinnaSwirls for a mashup that fans say is “so good.”

The peanut butter-flavored Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal was originally released in 2004, before being discontinued in 2006. It had another brief run in 2013, but hasn’t been spotted on shelves in nearly a decade.Ā

Now, the fan-loved cereal is making its triumphant return, and will be hitting retailers nationwide, including Amazon Fresh, in December.

“This is big,” one fan wrote of the cereal’s return.Ā

“PBTC, baby! My beloved! Fave cereal ever,” another commented.

And, there’s more good news. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Peanut Butter isn’t just returning for a limited time—it’s joining the permanent lineup of General Mills cereals. So, you won’t have to worry about seeing your favorite morning meal disappear again.

Looks like a holiday gift came early for you peanut butter lovers!
