There are only a few short days left before stores and restaurants make the overnight switch from Halloween to a winter wonderland. That is, if the holiday menus aren’t already available—but it’s never too early for a Peppermint Bark Blizzard, right?

While its full holiday menu rollout hasn’t been announced yet, Chick-fil-A did bring back its fan-favorite Chicken Tortilla Soup this week. And customers have high hopes that the beloved Peppermint Chip Milkshake will be on its way back soon.

However, despite the minty shake and warm, hearty soup on everyone’s minds, Chick-fil-A just began a menu test that is the opposite of letting it snow.

Chick-fil-A is quietly testing a new S’mores Milkshake and S’mores Frosted Coffee.

Chick-fil-A Is Testing a New S’mores Milkshake and S’mores Frosted Coffee

The chicken chain is testing out two new s’mores-inspired treats in a very select market.

The new S’mores Milkshake is made with fudge-coated graham cracker pieces and marshmallow syrup blended with Chick-fil-A’s signature Icedream vanilla soft serve, all topped with whipped cream and a cherry. The S’mores Frosted Coffee combines the same Icedream, marshmallow syrup, and fudge-coated graham crackers with cold brew coffee for a delicious, frosty mix between a milkshake and iced coffee.

The S’mores menu test is currently being conducted at select Chick-fil-A locations in Austin, Texas—you can check the Chick-fil-A app to determine if your local restaurant is participating in the test. Texans can try both the S’mores Milkshake and S’mores Frosted Coffee now through Nov. 10, or while supplies last.

If you’re thinking that a riff on the gooey marshmallow, chocolate, and graham cracker campfire treat is an odd menu item to see in the fall, you’ll need to remember that Chick-fil-A’s menu tests usually occur many months before items hit nationwide menus. So, Chick-fil-A is likely testing the S’mores Milkshake and S’mores Frosted Coffee now to determine if they should be released as part of its summer 2026 menu.

We won’t know for sure how the new s’mores-inspired treats performed until next year, but there’s already plenty of excitement for them.

“Omgggg we need this nationwide,” an Instagram user commented on food blogger Snackolator’s post announcing the test.

“Will this be in the Austin airport? Tempted to do a day trip fly for this,” another wrote.

Sadly, there is no Chick-fil-A in the Austin airport, but we like the way these fans are thinking. Maybe a day trip to Texas is necessary this week.
