Oreo Is Bringing Back One of Its Most-Requested Flavors

Oreos have been my favorite snack since I was younger. Like most of us, my go-to was the original flavor, but it quickly expanded as the brand launched new flavors year after year. Whether it’s the Lemon Creme Sandwich Cookies, the Birthday Cake Creme Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, or the Double Chocolate Cakesters, there are always a variety of flavors and new options to choose from. 

Speaking of new options, each year, Oreo releases a handful of brand-new flavors, including seasonal offerings like the Spooky Colored Creme Cookies for Halloween and Festive Colored Creme Cookies for the holiday season. Now, the brand is bringing back one of its most-requested flavors—and fans get to choose which one.

Fans Can Decide Which Oreo Flavors Will Return to Shelves

There’s no denying that Oreo cookie enthusiasts are very passionate about their favorite flavors. To discover which flavors shoppers want back on shelves, the brand recently announced it’s bringing back a few popular flavors in 2026—and the decision is entirely up to the fans. 

It’s truly a dream come true for those of us longing for Oreo products that we haven’t seen in years. The snack brand is offering 13 cookie flavors for fans to vote on, including recent releases like Space Dunk, seasonal drops like Maple Creme, and those that haven’t been available for more than a decade, such as Carrot Cake, Fruity Crisp, and Cookie Butter, to name a few.

You can head to Oreo’s website to enter the “Oreoverse,” where you can revisit many of the brand’s most iconic flavors. To cast your vote for your favorite, simply click on the cookie you prefer. Then, select the ‘bring em’ back’ button and drag the flavors to the right, labeled ‘everybody loves a comeback!’ for ‘yes’. To vote ‘no’, drag the flavors to the left, under ‘some flavors are best left behind.’

Food blogger SnachwithZach shared the news on Instagram, and many followers quickly flooded the comments with excitement over which flavor they’d like to see back in stores. “Oreo is saving 2026 already,” one person wrote. 

Another said, “I need Cinnamon Bun back, they were so good.”

Someone else chimed in, “I’m a diehard Oreo fan, but the only one that needs to come back is S’mores.”

If you’re missing one of the flavors that came out years ago, it’s the perfect time to head to Oreo’s website and cast your vote in hopes that others feel the same as you. I, for one, will be casting many votes to bring back the Snickerdoodle flavor.
