There is something so nostalgic about eating Haribo gummy bears. When I see a bag of the iconic candies, I instantly think back to going to the movie theaters and snacking on them while watching a summer blockbuster—picking out my favorite flavors and leaving the others behind.

Even though the brand has been around since 1920, Haribo continues to keep fans coming back for more by releasing new versions of the gummies. Whether it’s launching new Sour Sodas for Halloween or bringing the Starmix candy to the U.S., it is always keeping candy enthusiasts guessing what’s next.

And its newest limited-time release is already exciting fans, who are calling the newcomer “iconic.”

Habrio Releases New Ruby Hearts Gummi Candy With Blackpink’s Jennie

Haribo has teamed up with Jennie from Blackpink to launch Ruby Hearts, inspired by her new solo album “Ruby.” The sweet-and-sour strawberry heart-shaped gummies are in the singer’s signature ruby-red color and are perfect for serving in a bowl with other seasonally colored candy to celebrate the upcoming holidays or to keep for yourself when you’re craving a sweet treat.

In April, Jennie teased Ruby Hearts on Instagram when she shared a photo of herself with the candy. “Ruby Hearts Haribo. Such a dream come true I love you,” the caption read. Fans instantly flooded the comment section, wanting to try the candy out. 

“Iconic and adorable,” one person wrote. “I gotta get some!” 

“Wait, how do I get some of these?” someone else asked, while another simply stated: “I need it every day!”

For months, fans waited and begged Haribo to release Ruby Hearts so they could try the chewy candy for themselves. Just in time for the season of giving, the brand released the product, and both the fans and the singer are excited about the collab.

“I’ve loved Haribo since I was young,” Jennie said in a statement. “Creating Ruby Hearts with this iconic global brand felt like a full-circle moment. It’s a little piece of joy that I hope fans can share with me.”

The Ruby Hearts gummies come in 8-ounce bags and are only available at Target—both online and in stores nationwide. If you’re interested in trying out Haribo’s new product, you’ll want to head to your local Target ASAP, as once this limited-edition candy is gone, it’s gone for good.
