Every year, when the holiday season rolls around, I immediately want all things peppermint. Whether it’s a Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks, Peppermint Hot Chocolate from Dunkin’, or even just a classic candy cane—in my eyes, you can’t go wrong with the refreshing, minty flavor. 

Now that Halloween is behind us, I’m on the lookout for any new and returning peppermint-flavored treats hitting stores and restaurants. From Costco bringing back its fan-loved peppermint bark to Lindt’s brand-new peppermint candy chocolates, luckily, there’s no shortage of them. And now, Five Guys is finally bringing back a fan-favorite menu item that is the ultimate peppermint dessert. It’s so good that it took the crown in our taste test last year for the best fast food peppermint milkshake. That’s right, Five Guys’ Candy Cane Crunch Milkshake mix-in is back.

Five Guys’ Candy Cane Crunch Milkshake Returns

Five Guys’ Candy Cane Crunch milkshake is made with the restaurant’s creamy vanilla ice cream and crushed candy cane pieces. It’s topped with fluffy whipped cream and even more candy cane pieces to highlight one of winter’s best flavors.

When the burger chain first released the Candy Cane milkshake last year, it was an instant hit among fans. One TikToker even reported polishing off three of them in two weeks. When Five Guys announced its return on Instagram, it was no surprise that fans were more than thrilled.
