For the past year, fans haven’t been able to stop talking about the “Wicked” movie or its highly anticipated sequel, “Wicked: For Good.” Somehow, likely through one “Wicked” soundtrack listen at a time, we’ve made it to the finale’s release as the Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo-led film had its premiere this week.Â
While many fans have yet to see the film, which hits the silver screen officially on Nov. 21, the weeks leading up have been met with much anticipation—from moviegoers and brands alike. Fans have been stocking up on all of the pink and green “Wicked”-themed products and collaborations, And, recently, Chili’s has gone viral for its new “Wicked”-themed margaritas, which will likely see an even larger spike in sales as fans head out for dinner and a movie this weekend.Â
But, if you’re looking for a special drink to enjoy while actually watching “Wicked: For Good,” you’re in luck, too. Pepsi’s Drips by Pepsi recently launched Tropicana Lemonade Good Witch Swirl and Mountain Dew Emerald Mischief exclusively at Regal Cinemas. And, now, Coca-Cola is taking care of the rest of the theaters.
Coca-Cola is adding six “Wicked”-themed soda flavors to its Coca-Cola Freestyle machines.
Coca-Cola Adds 6 New ‘Wicked’-Themed Sodas to Freestyle Machines
Select Coca-Cola Freestyle machines at movie theaters across the U.S. will see six, exclusive “Wicked: For Good” drink mixes for a limited time. All theaters will have the pink Glinda’s Goodness and green Wicked Witch drinks, while AMC theaters will have four additional exclusives: Flying Fizz, Magical Bubble, Yellow Brick Brew, and Rainbow Sparkle.
Glinda’s Goodness starts with citrus Sprite and adds a mix of strawberry and grape flavors. Wicked Witch is a bold mixture of grape Fanta and lime. Flying Fizz has Barq’s root beer and ginger ale. Magical Bubble is a sweet grape-flavored Sprite. Yellow Brick Brew combines pineapple and peach flavors with lemon-lime Sprite. And Rainbow Sparkle is a fruity blend of orange Fanta, peach, strawberry, and cherry.
Fans are already “so excited for these” new sodas, saying they’re “gonna need two cups” to get one of each of the Glinda and Elphaba drinks.
All six new Coca-Cola Freestyle flavors are available now at their respective theaters, but they won’t be around for good. Instead, they’ll likely be dispensed for as long as “Wicked: For Good” is in theaters—or until the “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” four horsemen make them disappear.Â
