Everybody loves dips…even when it comes to dessert. Classics like cannoli dip and seasonal sweet favorites like pumpkin fluff dip keep partygoers pleased long after the appetizers are gone.

And let’s not forget about the dessert dip’s close relative, the sweet spread. Nutella and cookie butter come to mind when we think of our favorite must-haves. But there’s another unique seasonal sweet spread from Trader Joe’s that deserves your attention. Best of all, it’s now back on shelves—that is, if you’re fast enough to grab it before it sells out.

Trader Joe’s Cinnamon Bun Spread Returns to Shelves

To the delight of Trader Joe’s shoppers nationwide, the store’s beloved Cinnamon Bun Spread has returned for the fall season.

If you’re not familiar with this cinnamon bun spread, it’s quite different from the similar sweet-and-spicy cookie butter, mainly because its main ingredient is honey. Speaking of honey, the spread is even slightly sticky when you spoon it out of the jar, as you can see in this Instagram video, making it much more versatile than its richer, cookie-flavored cousin.

People on Reddit reported using the spread on pancakes, toast, ice cream, with sliced apples, and even in their coffee. One adventurous Redditor even admitted to putting it on fried chicken and Brussels sprouts, noting that it adds a touch of sweetness and spice to the savory dinner. And don’t be afraid to use it in your seasonal dessert recipes, either. In another post about the spread, where someone described it as “eat-it-with-a-spoon-and-nothing-else delish,” one Reddit user mentioned using it to stuff pumpkin spice snickerdoodles before baking.

When Instagram’s @trader_joes_treasure_hunt shared that the spread had returned to shelves, shoppers were quick to share their enthusiasm in the comments.

“Got mine today!” rejoiced one person. “I put it on the toasted brioche and it’s delicious. Also (don’t judge me), I love to put some in vanilla bean yogurt. It’s so good!”

When some skeptical yet intrigued potential customers inquired about what to expect in a jar of spreadable cinnamon rolls, loyal fans of the spread quickly swooped to explain their devotion. “[It tastes] literally like a cinnamon icing and the brown sugar inside a cinnamon roll,” noted another commenter. “It’s incredible.”

On another Instagram post, the lovefest continued. “This spread was amazing but sold out way too fast,” wrote one fan. Another added, professing their love for the spread, “I will eat that on a piece of cardboard!”

However you choose to use it, Trader Joe’s Cinnamon Bun Spread is now available at stores in a 10-ounce jar for $3.99.
