Hershey’s Is Releasing 3 New Chocolate Bars for the Holidays

For many people, watching holiday movies is as important a family tradition as the Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve, finding the pickle ornament on Christmas day, or baking holiday cookies. However, the question arises: Which holiday movies are considered a must-watch? Do you go with something new, like this year’s “A Very Jonas Christmas” or “Jingle Bell Heist,” or play the Hallmark love stories on repeat all day? Or do you stick with one of the classics, like Rankin/Bass’ “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town” or “Home Alone”?

And, to make things more complicated, if you find yourself in a “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”-loving house, you still have three options: the classic 1966 cartoon, the Jim Carey-led live-action version, and the new animated adaptation from 2018. The good news for those fans, however, is that Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch is lovable in all formats—and that’s clear with so many Grinch-themed holiday product launches. These days, you can even get a Grinch-themed cookie jar and fill it with actual cookies with his face on them.

The Whoville—or, more specifically, Mount Crumpit—dweller has also been adorning holiday Hershey’s Kisses foil for many years. And now, Hershey’s is expanding that successful partnership with a new line of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”-inspired Hershey’s bars.

Hershey’s Launches New Hershey’s Grinch Milk Chocolate Bar

The new Hershey’s Grinch Milk Chocolate Bar is the same classic, creamy milk chocolate bar you know and love with three special Grinch-inspired designs. The bars, of course, feature the “mean one” himself, Mr. Grinch, but they also include a nod to other Whoville characters, including Cindy Lou Who and the Grinch’s sidekick, Max the dog. 

Each Grinch Milk Chocolate Bar is shrouded in a green-wrapped mystery, so you won’t know which character you get until you open the package. However, in addition to being sold as individual bars, the candy will also be available in a 6-pack that includes all three bars. 

The Grinch’s new Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar is rolling out to retailers now, including Amazon Fresh, where it will be sold alongside Hershey’s other new holiday-themed products, including its Snickerdoodle Kisses, Reese’s Mini Trees, and Kit Kat Peppermint Stick. 

The new chocolate bars will only be available for a limited time, so make sure you make time in your busy schedule—we know you can’t cancel on dinner with yourself, again—to grab them.
