As the holidays approach, our Sam’s Club shopping trips seem to get more and more frequent. Whether we’re buying staples from Sam’s Thanksgiving Meal, which is back again serving 10 people for under $100, or appetizers for our countless holiday parties, there’s always a good excuse to make a Sam’s Club run.

After a brief social media scroll the other night, however, I saw an item that I can promise is worth the extra trip to Sam’s Club this week. The club store’s bakery has released its own dessert version of a viral candy trend, and Sam’s fans say they’re “heading there ASAP” to get them.

Sam’s Club has launched new Member’s Mark Dubai Style Chocolate Cupcakes.

Sam’s Club Releases New Member’s Mark Dubai Style Chocolate Cupcakes

As a Sam’s Club insider, I knew that the club store had plans to release Dubai chocolate-inspired cupcakes—in fact, I tried them back in September at the brand’s Bentonville, Arkansas HQ. However, I didn’t know the exact date they would hit clubs. Apparently, that day has arrived.

The eight-count chocolate cupcakes are inspired by the internet-breaking Dubai chocolate, which originated as a milk chocolate bar filled with a creamy, crunchy mixture of pistachio, shredded knafeh pastry, and tahini. Today, we’ve seen brands replicate the flavors in everything from milkshakes to pancakes.

Now, Sam’s private label bakery has brought the viral flavors to its freshly baked cupcakes. The new eight-count of Dubai Style Chocolate Cupcakes includes four cupcakes of two varieties.

All eight desserts start with the same chocolate-filled chocolate cupcake, but four are topped with chocolate buttercream, while the other four are topped with pistachio Swiss meringue buttercream made with Sicilian pistachios. The oversized cupcakes are also adorned with either white or dark chocolate curls, pistachio cream, and kataifi, which is a toasted, shredded pastry dough.

The new Member’s Mark Dubai Style Chocolate Cupcakes are sold in eight-count containers for $16.67 each, which is cheaper than some stores sell a single bar of Dubai chocolate. So, if you’ve been wanting to try the trend but not fork over close to $20 for a single bar of chocolate, this might be your chance.

But deal aside, the Dubai Style Chocolate Cupcakes are actually delicious. They’re rich, decadent, and have the Dubai Chocolate texture of crispy and creamy in every bite.

Instagram user @samsclubsimplesavings says the new cupcakes are “five stars”—and I completely agree.

The only downside to Sam’s new cupcakes is that they’ll only be available for a limited time. So, whether you need a dessert for the holidays or just a way to treat yourself, you won’t want to miss these Dubai Style Chocolate Cupcakes while they’re on club shelves.
