From Friendsgivings to white elephant parties, the holiday season is filled with a multitude of events even before the actual big holidays themselves. Because of that, my fridge is always full of certain ingredients to whip up easy apps in no time.

No matter if I’m hosting or bringing a dish to the party, my holiday rotational menu usually consists of Buffalo chicken dip, baked ham and cheese sliders, baked brie, and, of course, a charcuterie board.

The cheese board is essential to my holiday gatherings. It’s oftentimes the main centerpiece of the table, adorned with salami roses, star-shaped fruits, and some kind of holiday greenery. Plus, it’s usually the one food that lasts the entire party as folks can graze on it all night long.

Because no party of mine is complete without some meat and cheeses, I’m always on the hunt for new and delicious options to wow my guests. Typically, Aldi is my one-stop shop for all my unique charcuterie cheeses with its selection of flavored varietals. However, Tillamook just launched a new cheese that is definitely worth making the special grocery trip for.

Tillamook recently released a new Truffle White Cheddar cheese.

Tillamook Introduces Farmers’ Collection Truffle White Cheddar Cheese

Tillamook’s Farmers’ Collection is filled with award-winning cheeses, such as the English-Style Sweet Cheddar, Garlic Chili Cheddar, and Hickory Smoked Cheddar. Now, the collection of premium cheeses has grown by one, and it’s Tillamook’s first-ever truffle-filled cheese.

The new Farmers’ Collection Truffle White Cheddar is made with Italian Black Summer Truffles, which offer a complex, earthy, rich flavor. The truffles are paired with Tillamook’s fan-loved White Cheddar cheese for a smooth, creamy bite that adds a subtle buttery taste to the truffle’s deep flavor.

Tillamook’s latest Truffle White Cheddar will pair well on your charcuterie board with prosciutto and fig preserves, along with a glass of dry sparkling wine or a chilled pilsner beer, according to the brand. The Oregon-based creamery also recommends trying the newest decadent cheese in your morning omelet.

While I’m set on adding Tillamook’s Truffle White Cheddar to all of my charcuterie boards, it may be a bit tricky to find this holiday season. Typically, Tillamook’s Farmers’ Collection—as well as its Maker’s Reserve—cheeses aren’t sold at all grocery stores. You’ll have the best luck finding them on the West Coast, but keep your eyes peeled for the special packages in the cheese aisle at your local supermarket, too.

Otherwise, you can buy Tillamook’s Truffle White Cheddar directly from its creamery in Oregon, or on its website for shipping directly to your door.

Even with holiday and Black Friday shopping, that cheese delivery might just be the most exciting thing we get all season long.
