Heinz Has a New Product That I’m Buying ASAP

I’m not trying to flaunt my ketchup credentials, but I’m a pretty big Heinz fan. I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the birthplace of Heinz ketchup, where, for years, our NFL team played in a stadium named Heinz Field, complete with giant bottles of Heinz that poured fake ketchup when the Steelers were in the red zone.

In fact, if you hover over my byline at the top of this page, you might recognize the iconic red bottle in my headshot. I’ve backed Heinz through it all, from the good—like its new Chipotle Honey Mustard—to the ugly—I’m talking about you, Heinz Ketchup Smoothie (even though it was surprisingly delicious).

Now, the condiment brand is releasing a new product that combines two of my favorite things—Heinz and travel—and I’m adding it to my Christmas list immediately.

Heinz & Herschel Supply Launch New Ketchup-Inspired Luggage Collection

Heinz has teamed up with Herschel Supply for an all-new line of ketchup-inspired luggage to celebrate the condiment lovers who stash bottles in their suitcases and bring their own ketchup packets everywhere they go. The Heinz x Herschel Supply collection features two pieces in Herschel’s best-selling silhouettes: the Herschel Heritage Hardshell Medium Luggage and Herschel Heritage Hardshell Large Carry-On. 

Both luggage pieces are Heinz’s signature shade of ketchup red with subtle details that mimic a tear-and-squeeze ketchup packet. Each hardshell suitcase has the “tear here” visual on the corner, plus an interior print featuring Heinz Ketchup packets. The Heinz x Herschel Supply pieces also include a Heinz Ketchup packet luggage tag and custom removable belt.

In addition to the design, Herschel Supply’s luggage has a split design with a zippered closure for easy access, reinforced corners for extra protection, and is made with impact-resistant material. 

This limited-edition collection is available now on Herschel Supply’s website. Both pieces will be sold in the U.S. and Canada, while supplies last.
