Monster Energy drinks have a cult-like following. According to an Evidnt insights report, the brand has a 31 percent market share in the U.S. energy drink industry, second only to Red Bull. Around the world, Monster has more than 150 flavors and product types—all promising a boost of energy, thanks to its caffeine content.
Juice Monster, Monster’s brand of juice-based energy drinks, offers a little twist on the classic take to fans. Made with fruit juice, these energy drinks are available in familiar and beloved flavors, including lemonade (Juice Monster Aussie Style Lemonade), mango juice (Juice Monster Mango Loco), berry juice (Juice Monster Viking Berry), and more, which can be found on Amazon Fresh.Â
Despite its devoted fan base in the U.S., the latest Juice Monster offering actually comes from overseas. The flavor became popular in the U.K. and Europe, and now it’s finally making its way stateside—and fans couldn’t be more excited. “Took long enough,” said one fan. “[I’ve] been looking all over, hoping to find them in stores. Taking a road trip tomorrow and hoping I’ll find one on the road.”
Monster Energy Brings Juice Monster Bad Apple Flavor to America

Just in time for the spookiest holiday, Monster Energy is bringing this European-exclusive flavor to the States for the first time. Bad Apple, a Juice Monster flavor, was launched in the U.K. at the start of 2024. The flavor was sold throughout Europe over the last year and a half, selling “millions of cases” in the region.
Bad Apple is a fun play on apple cider. Its Fuji apple-inspired flavor is “smooth, crisp, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, not too dry.” Each can contains 160mg of caffeine, which is about the amount of caffeine in a strong 8-ounce mug of Folgers Coffee, per The Center for Science in the Public Interest.
“Juice Monster Bad Apple is all about that perfect mix of nostalgia and attitude,” said Dan McHugh, CMO for Monster Energy. “It’s a nod to classic juice flavor, but with the bold edge and high-energy performance only Monster can deliver. We wanted to bring something familiar yet unexpected in a flavor that feels timeless, but hits like a Monster.”
Since its release last year, the beverage has already garnered a fan base across the pond. “It’s honestly one of my favorite flavors,” shared one Redditor. “Tastes like sour apple candy, which I love.” Another stated that it was like “apple cider as an energy drink, so my two favorite things combined to make my new favorite energy drink.”
This is the latest addition to the Juice Monster lineup, joining Pacific Punch, Viking Berry, Mango Loco, and other popular flavors. Bad Apple is now available nationwide at convenience stores, grocery stores, and mass retailers.
