We’ll say it loud and proud: we are not too good for Thanksgiving shortcuts. And we’re not the only ones—Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond happily starts with store-bought pie crust for her Dreamy Apple Pie, and Ina Garten insists that canned pumpkin purée is not only acceptable, but preferred. So yes, we (and likely you) are in excellent company.
Some Thanksgiving dishes are sacred and deserve the homemade touch, but others are perfectly delicious with a little help from the store. After all, with the holiday’s supersized menu, every shortcut counts—and one of our longtime favorites is Stove Top stuffing.
This quick-cooking mix has been a Thanksgiving staple since the ‘70s, ready in minutes right on the stovetop—or even in the microwave—to free up valuable oven space. And this year, the brand is making its signature mix even more tempting for your holiday table by combining it with another Thanksgiving classic: cranberries.
Stove Top Launches New Craisins Stuffing Mix
This season, Stove Top is teaming up with Ocean Spray to launch a limited-edition Craisins Stuffing Mix, featuring dried cranberries mixed right in.
In our opinion, this collaboration just makes sense. Cranberry sauce is already an essential part of the feast, adding that tart, tangy sweetness every plate needs. Now, instead of spooning it on the side, those same flavors are baked right into your stuffing. Some fans have even said they’ve been “adding Craisins to [their] stuffing for years,” so this version saves them a step—plus a little extra shopping.
This actually isn’t the first time Stove Top and Ocean Spray have joined forces. A report from 2011 mentioned a similar product debuting years ago, but it hasn’t been widely seen since. So, consider this its long-overdue comeback.
The limited-edition mix takes the classic Stove Top combo of breadcrumbs, herbs, and seasonings and tosses in sweetened dried cranberries for the ideal festive twist. Instead of a blob of cranberry sauce that can often overpower your plate, this version delivers little sweet-tart pops throughout while still letting the savory stuffing shine.
And fans are giving it two thumbs up: “This stuff is amazing! It’s good the first go around, but it’s the chef’s kiss as a leftover on a Thanksgiving Day After Sub!”
The new Craisins flavor joins Stove Top’s classic lineup of Traditional Sage, Savory Herbs, Cornbread, and more. Shoppers have already spotted it at Woodman’s, where it’s available in a 6-ounce package for around $3. You can also purchase it at retailers nationwide, including on Amazon Fresh.
So if there’s one dish you’re going to outsource this holiday, make it the stuffing. Stove Top is ready to do the heavy lifting.
