Chick-fil-A may be known for its classic chicken nuggets, but the fast food chain’s offerings extend far beyond your basic tenders and signature sauce. From seasonal selections to twists on menu favorites, the chain (and its devout fans) is always coming up with new offerings and hacks that somehow make the menu even better. And just when we thought CFA mastered the fast food chicken nugget, the brand is once again surprising fans—but instead of a new menu item, Chick-fil-A is launching what may be its biggest concept yet.
Chick-fil-A Just Opened Daybright—a New Beverage-Only Concept
Move over, Starbucks—Chick-fil-A’s innovation brand, Red Wagon Ventures, just launched a new concept dedicated solely to beverages called Daybright in Hirma, Georgia.
Unlike a typical Chick-fil-A restaurant, Daybright doesn’t serve chicken nuggets, crispy waffle fries, or any of the signature sandwiches the chain is known for. Instead, Daybright, focuses on beverages along with a small menu of select breakfast food items—and no, CFA’s beloved lemonade is not on the menu.

In fact, Daybright doesn’t overlap with CFA’s current beverage offerings and, instead, offers innovative drink creations that are more in line with what you might see on Starbucks’ menus, including specialty coffees (yes, even protein coffee), smoothies, and cold-pressed juices. Alongside its drinks, Daybright also has a small menu of breakfast food items, including oven-baked donuts, stuffed English muffins, a breakfast sandwich, and a breakfast burrito.
Our Honest Review of Chick-fil-A’s New Restaurant Daybright
Allrecipes Senior Photo Editor Debbie Wolfe got a chance to check out the restaurant before opening day and try a few of the menu items. “The restaurant gives off a bit of a Chick-fil-A vibe with its design, friendly service, and overall customer experience, but the menu is more health-focused and emphasizes fresh ingredients,” said Wolfe.

She and her son sampled the Toasty Coconut Cold Brew, Iced Vanilla Latte, Chorizo Breakfast Burrito, and Chocolate Donut. While they were impressed with the food, the drinks were the main event.

“Overall, we were big fans of the coffee. It was flavorful without being overly sweet,” Wolfe said. “Price-wise, it’s comparable to Starbucks, and the food is reasonably priced, too. We’ll definitely be making this one of our regular stops.”
