Zaxbys Just Dropped 3 New Menu Items—and We Have To Try Them All

Chicken has been having its moment in the drive-thru lately. Following the return of McDonald’s Snack Wrap this past summer, fast food chains have been rolling out even more poultry-packed options, from Sonic’s chicken tender wrap to Taco Bell’s new Crispy Chicken Crunchwrap Sliders.

Saucy chicken chain Zaxbys also understood the assignment. Hot on the heels of its returning Chicken Finger Tacos, the chain is expanding one of its most popular menu lines with two fresh additions—plus a sweet holiday surprise.

Zaxbys Expands Its Asian Zensation Lineup With 2 New Menu Items

Departing from its signature saucy fried chicken, Zaxbys’ Asian Zensation lineup offers fresh, flavor-forward dishes inspired by Asian-style ingredients and cooking traditions.

Since its comeback in 2024, Zaxbys’ Asian Zensation Zalad has become a fan favorite and a permanent menu staple. The salad features the chain’s hand-breaded Fried Chicken Fingerz or Grilled Chicken served over mixed greens with crispy wonton strips and slaw, all drizzled with the brand’s Teriyaki Glaze and bright Citrus Vinaigrette. Plus, each Zalad comes with a crispy Veggie Egg Roll on the side for a bonus snack.

Now, Zaxbys is expanding the line with two brand-new creations. First up, the Giant Asian Zensation Wrap takes the same bold, sweet-and-savory flavors of the Zalad and rolls them up in a warm flour tortilla. It’s filled with your choice of chopped Fried Chicken Fingerz or Grilled Chicken, drizzled with Teriyaki Sauce, and served with Crinkle Fries and a small drink.

Next up is Zaxbys’ Sweet Asian Glazed Chicken Finger Plate. Available with four, five, or six pieces, the dish features the signature hand-breaded Chicken Fingerz tossed in the chain’s Sweet Asian Glaze and paired with Cole Slaw, Texas Toast, Crinkle Fries, and a small drink.

The new lineup arrives at locations nationwide starting Monday, Nov. 3—but only for a limited time. However, eager fans can get early access to the new meals starting Oct. 27 by ordering through the restaurant’s app, website, or third-party delivery platforms.

If two new entrées weren’t exciting enough, Zaxbys is also launching a limited-time holiday shake. The Cookie Butter Shake, debuting alongside the updated Asian Zensation menu, blends creamy vanilla ice cream with cinnamon-spiced syrup and cookie pieces for a cozy, festive treat.

It’s topped with whipped cream, cookie crumbles, and a cherry—making it a nostalgic nod to milk and cookies with a holiday twist.
