Jimmy John’s has had quite the year with new menu releases, from its partnership with Drew Brees to its highly anticipated launch of Toasted Sandwiches. While Jimmy John’s is working hard to release menu items that fans are craving, like the latest pizza-inspired toasted subs, the sandwich chain has always been rooted in light-hearted launches.

We all know that Jimmy John’s is “Freaky Fast,” but it’s freaky creative, too. After discontinuing its fan-favorite Kickin’ Ranch sauce, the chain brought it back as a “soup” earlier this year. Plus, it jumped on the pickle trend with the first-ever fast food sub to use an actual dill pickle as the bun.

These launches may turn heads, but, they also become cult-favorites. Last year’s Picklewich was met with plenty of fanfare, so, this year, according to Jimmy John’s, it’s “tripling down” on pickles by bringing back the Picklewich in six options, all part of an entire pickle-themed menu.

Jimmy John’s Viral Picklewich Returns

Jimmy John’s

Jimmy John’s is bringing back the Picklewich, a “sandwich” stuffed inside an entire dill pickle bun, in last year’s beloved Vito and Turkey flavors. Plus, the Picklewich will now be available in Ham, Roast Beef, Tuna, and Veggie options.

Each Picklewich will be topped with the same ingredients as the corresponding bread sandwich menu item—meaning the Vito is made with salami, capocollo, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, sauce, and herbs in a hollowed-out pickle. The Turkey, Ham, and Roast Beef Picklewich has meat, provolone, lettuce, tomato, and onion. The Tuna Picklewich features tuna salad, provolone, cucumber, lettuce, and tomato. And the Veggie Picklewich has avocado spread, provolone, cucumber, lettuce, and tomato.

In addition to the returning Picklewich, Jimmy John’s is bringing back its fan-favorite Pickle Jimmy Chips. Plus, it’s introducing a new way to pickle with Pickle Ranch.

The Picklewich, Pickle Jimmy Chips, and Pickle Ranch can all be enjoyed Ă  la carte, or as part of the all-new Triple Pickle meal. The meal includes your choice of Picklewich, a bag of briny pickle chips, and a side of pickle-flavored ranch for dipping.

Jimmy John’s entire pickle-themed menu will be available nationwide for a limited time beginning Oct. 27—and hopefully it’ll last longer than the 18 days it was on menus last year. If you can’t wait to get your hands on the Picklewich, which, after trying last year, we found to be an ultra-flavorful alternative to traditional bread and perfect for pickle lovers, JJ Rewards members can gain early access to the sub. Jimmy John’s is hosting a Pickle Freak Weekend from Oct. 24 to 26 that allows rewards members to order the Picklewich, Pickle Ranch, and Pickle Jimmy Chips early.

It’s Jimmy John’s first-ever member exclusive, but there’s still time to sign up. You can enroll for free on Jimmy John’s site just in time for a pickle-filled weekend.
