Aldi desserts are almost as famous and beloved as Costco and Sam’s Club. It’s hard to shop at Aldi without perusing the dessert selection, from the one-pound tiramisu to cinnamon churro ice cream sandwiches and everything in between. Aldi’s frozen desserts are especially great for a quick sweet treat, passing off a dessert as your own, or simply keeping some ready-made dessert options on hand to make life a little easier throughout the busy holiday season. Â
This week, Aldi is bringing back a line of fan-favorite desserts that shoppers have previously described as the “one thing I can’t control myself around.” And others have claimed that it’s their “one true love.”
Sounds like we may need to stock up ASAP.
Aldi’s Belmont Chocolate Covered Bites Back on Shelves
Allrecipes / Aldi
From Oct. 22 to 28, Aldi is bringing back the Belmont Chocolate Covered Pie Bites. The last time these products were sold, they were available in coconut cream, banana cream, and key lime flavors. Now, they’re returning with an autumnal flavor suite: apple pie, caramel, and chocolate.Â
“These sound amazing,” said one Aldi fan on Instagram.Â
Belmont Chocolate Covered Pie Bites are priced at $5.49 for six ounces, or 10 bites of layered pie goodness. The apple pie flavor features apple purée and a fresh cream filling on top of a graham cracker and butter crust with a rich chocolate coating. The caramel pie-inspired bites have a creamy caramel filling on top of that same pie crust with a chocolate coating.
The chocolate pie bites have a cocoa filling atop the graham cracker pie crust with the same chocolate coating. These frozen treats should be partially thawed before serving. Just pull out a few minutes before digging in.Â
“They rank among some of the best desserts Aldi has stocked,” said Rachael Johnston, co-founder of the blog Aldi Review. “I could see these going over well for dessert on holidays. They would also be great served with a nice cup of hot coffee or tea.”
You can find Belmont Chocolate Covered Pie Bites in the frozen aisle while supplies last. And these bites will go fast. There are only 10 per package after all! So, stock up on these frozen treats sooner rather than later this week before they disappear from Aldi shelves for good.
