A few years ago, someone on Reddit posted a thread lamenting that fast food restaurants “don’t do any cool Halloween promos anymore.” While that may have been the case a few short years ago, it seems the Halloween curse has been broken as many chains have brought back their spooky offerings.

McDonald’s Boo Buckets have returned in full force. Burger King has offered a Halloween-themed menu for two years in a row. And while Starbucks recently announced its holiday lineup, Dunkin’ is doing the opposite—and doubling down on its fall treats.

Dunkin’ is releasing an all-new Candy Bar Signature Latte, plus bringing back two fan-favorite themed menu items.

The costumes are fun, the decor is a must, and a rewatch of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” is a tradition, but everyone knows that Halloween is really about the treats.

You might think of those treats as the Snickers Pumpkins in your Halloween pail or a scoop of Salt & Straw’s candy-filled The Great Candycopia ice cream. But why shouldn’t you please that sweet tooth first thing in the morning? Dunkin’s new Candy Bar Signature Latte does just that.

The new coffee drink starts with rich espresso paired with sweet chocolate, toffee, pretzel, and peanut butter flavors, all adorned with whipped cream, a mocha drizzle, and crumbled candy bar pieces.

And, if you want to start your morning off just a little bit spookier, the chain is bringing back its Spider Specialty Donut. The donut, which goes viral year after year, starts with a classic donut topped with purple icing, and made festive with a chocolate Munchkin donut hole in the center that’s decorated with eyes and legs to look like a spider.

Lastly, the Halloween Munchkins Bucket—which is similar to Mickey D’s collectible Boo Buckets and Burger King’s new buckets—is returning with a brand-new design. The buckets, which are filled with a variety of 50 Munchkins Donut Holes, feature the iconic Spider Donut, as well as the Munchkins dressed in different costumes, from ghosts to the DunKings.

The Halloween offerings hit Dunkin’ menus nationwide beginning Oct. 15. They’ll also be joined by a whole new line of Dunkin’ merch hitting the DunkinGear.com site, including a Spider Donut Onesie Costume, Giant Spider Plushy, Spider Donut Crew Necks, and more.

Dunkin’s spooky menu items won’t be around long—likely only through Oct. 31 as the chain released its holiday menu bright and early on Nov. 1 last year. So, don’t let these treats “Monster Mash” away from you before you have a chance to try them.
