And now, Nutella just announced another innovation we already know we’ll love—because it’s already garnered millions of fans around the world.

Nutella Ice Cream Is Finally Coming to the States

With the help of Wells Enterprises, Ferrero is bringing something brand-new to the freezer aisle, and launching Nutella Ice Cream in the U.S. for the first time ever.

The exciting innovation first launched in Europe last summer—just in time for Nutella’s 60th anniversary—and quickly became a fan favorite across the U.K., Italy, and Germany, where customers called it “divine” and a “game-changer.”

“This is by far my favourite tub of ice cream ever! And I have tried looooads!! Please don’t ever get rid of this product! I love it!” one fan raved.

For its U.S. launch, the ice cream will come in two forms: pints and single-serve cones. The pints are expected to feature a thick layer of Nutella on top, creamy hazelnut-flavored ice cream swirled with Nutella throughout, and another layer of Nutella waiting at the bottom. The cones will also have a Nutella topping and, true to form, more Nutella tucked inside the tip of the crunchy cone.

From initial online reactions, it seems American Nutella fans have been patiently awaiting this moment: “Been waiting for this since I was 5 years old,” one fan shared. “Dear whoever FINALLY thought of us too, THANK YOU—long overdue,” added another.

And if you’re a fan of the European-born hazelnut spread, you’ll be happy to know another Ferrero favorite is joining the freezer aisle: Kinder.

New Kinder Bueno Frozen Dessert

Kinder Bueno Frozen Dessert will also make its U.S. debut, bringing the creamy, hazelnut-filled flavor of the beloved Kinder Bueno bar to a frozen dessert format. The ice cream will also be available as both pints and cones, blending smooth frozen cream with chocolatey hazelnut swirls and crunchy bits reminiscent of the classic candy bar.

Both sharing deep Italian roots and a hazelnut heritage, Nutella and Kinder’s new frozen desserts make a natural pair in the freezer aisle—but each is unique enough to make its own sweet impact on shelves. And according to the brand, this is just the beginning. 

“Nutella Ice Cream and Kinder Bueno Frozen Dessert are just the beginning of a pipeline of bold new concepts designed to keep convenience-store and grocery freezers exciting and profitable,” said Isabella Chia, Chief Marketing Officer at Wells Enterprises, in a press release. “These launches underscore Wells’ commitment to category-leading innovation and to partnering with retailers to create new growth across the frozen dessert aisle.”

The first rollout of Nutella Ice Cream and Kinder Bueno Frozen Dessert is planned for December 1, with a nationwide release coming early next year. Both brands will be available in 14-ounce pints and single-serve cones.

Between Nutella and Kinder’s unmatched impacts on the dessert world, it’s safe to say this Ferrero freezer debut will be one of the sweetest arrivals of the year.
