The Allrecipes team continuously monitors federal agencies and retailers—including the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS)—for recall announcements that could affect consumers. Ongoing Recalls This Week
Aldi Vegetable Spring Rolls
Aldi’s popular ready-made Fusia Asian Inspirations Veggie Spring Rolls are being recalled due to a labeling error. Boxes of Shrimp Spring Rolls were labeled as Vegetable Spring Rolls, so customers may inadvertently consume the product with shrimp.
The spring rolls were sold in Aldi stores across the country. The recalled product was sold in 10-ounce packages and can be identified by the UPC 4099100222258 with a “best before” date of May 17, 2027. The FDA has provided label images on its website to help consumers identify the recalled products.
These recalled spring rolls could lead to a serious or even life-threatening allergic reaction in individuals with a shellfish allergy. They are otherwise safe to consume for those without this allergy or dietary restriction. If you have boxes of the recalled Fusia Asian Inspiration Veggie Spring Rolls, you can return them to Aldi for a refund or replacement.Â
Del Mar and Sno Pac Organic Frozen SpinachÂ
The FDA announced a recall on two brands of frozen spinach that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The brands Del Mar and Sno Pac are both affected by this recall.Â
The following products are subject to recall: 35-pound boxes of Del Mar Organic Frozen Spinach with lot codes 250107A, 250107B, 250107C, 250107D, 2501071, and 2501073, and an expiration date of Jan. 7, 2027. Additionally, Snow Pac Organic Frozen Cut Spinach that was sold in 10-ounce packages with lot code SPM1.190.5 and “best by” date July 9, 2027; lot code SPC1.160.5 with “best by” date June 9, 2027; lot code SPC2.160.5 with “best by” date June 9, 2027; and lot code SPM1.097.5 with “best by” date April 7, 2027. Label images can be found on the FDA website.
As of Oct. 8, no illnesses have been reported in connection to the recalled spinach. However, if you have purchased this recalled product, throw it away or return it to the original place of purchase for a refund or exchange. Make sure to thoroughly clean any areas of your kitchen, fridge, or freezer that the contaminated spinach may have touched, as Listeria can survive on cold surfaces.Â
If you have consumed this spinach, monitor yourself for fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, or diarrhea, and reach out to your healthcare provider if you experience any symptoms.
Hello Fresh Cheesy Pulled Pork Pepper Pasta & Unstuffed Peppers with Ground TurkeyÂ
On Oct. 6, FSIS issued a public health alert for two ready-to-eat Hello Fresh meals that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Both meals contain spinach which was found to be contaminated with the bacteria.Â
If you are a Hello Fresh customer, look for the following labels: Hello Fresh Ready Made Meals Cheesy Pulled Pork Pepper Pasta with the establishment number “Est. 47718” and lot code 49107 or establishment number “Est. 2937” and lot code 48840. Additionally, Hello Fresh Ready Made Meals Unstuffed Peppers with Ground Turkey with the establishment number “P-47718” and lot codes 50069, 50073, or 50698 have been recalled.
As of Oct. 7, no cases of Listeriosis infection have been reported in connection with these ready-made meals. If you have these products in your refrigerator or freezer, do not consume them—instead reach out to FreshRealm at 1-888-244-1562 or [email protected] for a full refund.Â
Nine Foster Farms Frozen Corn Dog Products
Foster Poultry Farms, LLC issued a recall for over three million pounds of frozen corn dogs. The corn dogs were contaminated with pieces of wood in the batter, resulting in a Class I recall, which designates “a situation in which there is a reasonable probability that the use of, or exposure to, a violative product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death.” Take a look in your freezer for any Foster Farms Corn Dog products with the establishment number “P-6137B.” Â

Select Kroger, Giant Eagle, Scott & Jon’s, Albertsons, Walmart, and Trader Joe’s Prepared Pasta MealsÂ
Ready-to-eat pasta meals across several brands have been recalled due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The Kroger Co., Giant Eagle, Inc., Demers Food Group, and Albertsons Companies have put recalls in effect for prepared pasta meals. All of these brands prepared their ready-to-eat pasta meals with a recalled pasta ingredient manufactured by Nate’s Fine Foods. This recall is an extension of the public health alert issued on Sept. 29. This outbreak has resulted in four deaths, and 19 hospitalizations to date.Â
Kroger is recalling its Basil Pesto Bowtie Salad and Smoked Mozzarella Penne Salad—both sold in the deli section of Kroger-owned stores including Kroger, Baker’s, City Market, Dillons, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, Gerbes, King Soopers, Payless, Ralphs, and Smith’s. The recalled products have the UPC 217573-20000 and 227573-10000, and were sold between Aug. 29, 2025, and Oct. 2, 2025.
Giant Eagle is recalling the Smoked Mozzarella Pasta Salad sold at both Giant Eagle and Market District stores. The recalled pasta salad has various expiration dates ranging from Sept. 30-Oct. 7 and the following UPC codes: 256616000000, 246511000000, 246512000000.
Scott & Jon’s Frozen Shrimp Scampi with Linguini is being voluntarily recalled in connection with this outbreak. It was sent to wholesale distributors and operators across the country and have the UPC 858175003919; lot codes S254522, S255522, S259522, S263521, S263522; and expiration dates ranging from March 12, 2027 to March 21, 2027.
Albertsons has recalled the following prepared pasta salads: Pesto Bowtie Pasta Salad, Grilled Chicken & Basil Pasta, Spinach Bowtie Pasta Salad, Smoked Mozzarella [Pasta] With Hot Links, Smoked Mozzarella Penne Salad Kit, and Smoked Mozzarella Penne Salad. These products were sold at many Albertsons Companies-owned grocery stories including Albertsons, Albertsons Market, Amigos, Andronico’s Community Markets, Carrs-Safeway, Eagle, Pak ‘N Save, Pavilions, Market Street, Randalls, Safeway, Tom Thumb, United and Vons. All the recalled pastas have a “sell thru” date of Oct. 4, 2025.
Walmart is recalling its Marketside Linguine with Beef Meatballs & Marinara Sauce products. Check for “best if used by” dates Sept. 22, 2025, Sept. 24, 2025, Sept. 25, 2025, Sept. 29, 2025, Sept. 30, 2025, and Oct. 01, 2025. Establishment numbers will read “EST. 50784” or “EST. 47718” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
Trader Joe’s is recalling its Trader Joe’s Cajun Style Blackened Chicken Breast Fettuccine Alfredo packages. Check for “best if used by” dates Sept. 20, 2025, Sept. 24, 2025, or Sept. 27, 2025, printed on the front label of the packaging as well as the establishment number “P-45288” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
These recalled products are part of an ongoing investigation into a Listeria outbreak that has already resulted in death and serious injury. The FDA advises consumers to not consume these products. Instead, either throw them away or return them to the original place of purchase for a refund. Additionally, make sure to clean any surfaces that may have come in contact with the contaminated products, since Listeria can survive on surfaces and in cold temperatures.
Lipton Green Tea Citrus
PepsiCo recalled nearly 3,000 cases of Lipton Green Tea Citrus due to a labeling error. The bottles are labeled as Green Tea Citrus, but actually contain Lipton Diet Green Tea Mixed Berry. The label states that the product does not have sugar, but the Mixed Berry drink actually contains 25 grams of sugar. Consuming this product could be dangerous for individuals monitoring their sugar intake for health reasons, but the tea is not inherently unsafe to consume otherwise.
The bottles were sold in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. Both the individual bottle and cases can be identified by the “sell by” date of Dec. 1, 2025, alongside a code reading HHMM DW 08035 on the label.
Doan’s Bakery Bundt Cakes
California-based company Doan’s Bakery is recalling two popular bundt cakes, according to the FDA. Both the Carrot Bundt Cake and White Chocolate Coconut Bundt Cake are being recalled due to undeclared allergens including wheat and milk. This recall affects cakes sold between June 1 and Sept. 24.Â

Selected Fresh Cut FruitsÂ
The FDA has put out a recall for 24 fresh-cut fruit products due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The supplier Wholesale Produce Supply sold these fruit products to distributors in Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. The fruits were sold in plastic clamshell containers under the names “Harvest Cuts” and “Fresh & Finest” at several grocery stores.Â

Selected Tru Fru ProductsÂ
Tru Fru products sold at major retailers including Albertsons, CVS, Food Lion, H-E-B, Hungryroot, Ingles Markets, Kroger, Stew Leonard’s, and Target are being voluntarily recalled, according to the FDA. Both the Tru Fru Freeze Dried Strawberries in Dark & White Chocolate and the Tru Fru Freeze Dried Strawberries & Crème are being recalled after a consumer alerted the company to the presence of metal in its product.Â
The Freeze Dried Strawberries in Dark & White Chocolate that were sold in 3.4-ounce bags with the UPC 850048358270; the item number 10300458; and manufacturing codes that begin with 517B, 517C, 517D, 517E, 517F, 518D, 518E, 518F, 519A, 519B, 524A, 524B, 524C, 529C, 529D, 529E, 530C, 530D, 530E, 531A, 531B, 531C, 531D, 531E, 532A, or 532B are being recalled.Â
The Freeze Dried Strawberries In Dark & White Chocolate that were sold in 1.7-ounce bags and have a UPC of 850048358379; item number of 10300474; and manufacturing code that begins with 515A, 516B, or 516C are also being recalled.Â
Freeze Dried Strawberries & Crème sold in 3.4-ounce bag with the UPC 850048358249; the item number 10300455; and a manufacturing code that begins with 520B, 520C, 520D, 520E, 520F, 521A, 524C, 524D, or 524E are also being recalled.Â
These products should not be consumed, and should be thrown away immediately. Consumers can fill out this product recall form to get a reimbursement coupon.Â
Tyson Foods Corn Dogs and Sausage ProductsÂ
The Hillshire Brands Company, a subsidiary of Tyson Foods, issued a recall for about 58 million pounds of frozen corn dog and sausage on a stick products due to potential wood contamination, much like the aforementioned Foster Poultry Farms recall. The frozen foods were found to potentially contain pieces of wood embedded into the batter, according to FSIS.
The recalled corn dog and sausage on a stick products were packaged between March 17 and Sept. 26, and were sold under the brand names Jimmy Dean and State Fair, as well as unbranded packages sold for food service.

Kirkland Ahi Tuna Wasabi PokeÂ
Kirkland, the signature brand sold at Costco, issued a recall for its Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke due to possible Listeria contamination in the green onion used in the product. The poke was sold in plastic clamshell containers and prepared on Sept. 18, with a sell by date of Sept. 22. The Costco item number is 17193.
The recalled Kirkland Signature Brand Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke was sold at Costco stores in Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Aldi Electric Pressure CookersÂ
Ambiano, an in-house Aldi brand, announced a recall for its Electric Pressure Cookers on Oct. 9, 2025. The pressure cooker lid can be opened before enough steam pressure has been released, resulting in 11 reports of burn injuries to date.Â
The recall involves all Ambiano electric pressure cookers with model numbers 93550 (KY318B), 96775 (KY-318A), and 98527 (6L-PC) with either 6- or 8-quart capacity. The name Ambiano appears on the front of each unit and on its permanent product label. Consumers can find the model number printed on the permanent product label on the bottom of the appliance. These pressure cookers were sold between January 2016 and December 2019, so make sure to check your model if you purchased a pressure cooker at Aldi.
Consumers can either return the fully intact pressure cooker to any Aldi retail location for a full refund, or submit a photo of the pressure cooker with the unplugged power cord cut and a photo showing the model number and date code via email to Tempo at [email protected].
Select Durra Ground CinnamonÂ
California-based Eureka Inc. is recalling its 100-gram containers of Durra Ground Cinnamon due to potential lead contamination. The affected cinnamon has the UPC 6251136 034139 and the lot code: Batch No.: 06 B:02 with a “best by” date of May 2026. This product was sold at various grocery stores in California and Michigan between Aug. 24 and Oct. 6.Â

Select Blue Apron and Marley Spoon Ready Made MealsÂ
On Oct. 7, FSIS released a public health alert for two ready-to-eat meals containing riced cauliflower that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The alert states that “based on current evidence, the products included in this public health alert are not related to any ongoing outbreak investigations.” The potentially contaminated cauliflower was used in products from Blue Apron and Marley Spoon.Â
If you are a Blue Apron customer, check for the Blue Apron Cheesy Chicken Mac with Vegetables 13.05-ounce package with lot codes 25240 and 25247 and establishment number “P-3081.”
Marley Spoon customers should look for 10.5-ounce packages of Balance by Marley Spoon BBQ Sauce Beef Meatballs with Cheesy Cauliflower with lot code 25255 and establishment number “Est. 47718.”
