I’ll be 100 percent honest with you: My toxic trait is that I get annoyed when I see a pumpkin spice latte replacing the summer menu in August, but I am absolutely okay with seeing the first Grinch Pillsbury Shape Cookie show up at the grocery store in September. Maybe it’s because PSL season impedes on the final days of summer, which I love, but the holiday season never seems to be long enough. I like to milk the holly, jolly spirit for as long as I can, OK?Â
So, yes, I am the type of person who has my Advent and countdown calendars picked out long before Dec. 1. However, while everyone else is seeking out the Bonne Maman or See’s Candies Advent calendars, I have my sights set on another one—and it’s finally back.Â
Tillamook’s “12 Days of Tillamook” calendar is back, and it’s number one on my holiday wishlist.
Tillamook Brings Back Its ’12 Days of Tillamook’ Countdown Calendar
Tillamook
Tillamook is known for its delicious cheeses, perfect for everyday use, from the newly launched Smoked Medium Cheddar to the irresistibly melty mozzarella line. However, there are a few unique cheeses that are really meant to be the star of your charcuterie board—and, typically, they’re quite exclusive.Â
Tillamook’s Maker’s Reserve and Farmers’ Collection lines, both award-winning cheese portfolios, are most commonly found in the Pacific Northwest—though some are so exclusive you’ll only find them at Tillamook’s store or on its site. But the “12 Days of Tillamook” calendar is loaded with these cheeses, including Tillamook’s latest Maker’s Reserve Cheddar, which is aged for 10 years. The 2014 Maker’s Reserve Cheddar was recently named best in the world, so the 2015 Cheddar is not to be missed.Â
Tillamook’s holiday countdown calendar is unique in that it features two boxes, one for the fridge and one for the counter, with full-sized goodies between all 12 doors. The countertop box features six Tillamook-branded items, from branded swag to kitchen tools, while the fridge box is filled with six full-sized blocks of Maker’s Reserve and Farmers’ Collection cheeses.Â
The “12 Days of Tillamook” calendar features more than $200 worth of merchandise, but it costs only $149, with free shipping direct to your door.Â
Tillamook’s holiday countdown calendar is available now on Tillamook’s site and will be delivered to you before the first day of the holiday season. The hardest part will have to be waiting to dig into Day 1 before December.
