Key Takeaways
- Burger King is releasing a special Halloween menu this month.
- The menu features four new items, including an all-new sundae.
While many of us—and our favorite brands—may have been celebrating spooky season all through Summerween, the time for jack-o’-lanterns and a “Hocus Pocus” rewatch is officially upon us. Burger King has already dipped a toe in the cauldron of Halloween with its new Scooby-Doo-themed King Jr. Meal toys and the announcement of the returning Halloween Bucket on Oct. 13.
However, even before the $2 spooky pails join menus, BK is rolling out an all-new Halloween menu that will fuel your trick-or-treating and Monster Mash-ing bashes all spooky season long.
Burger King’s 2025 Halloween Menu
Following the success of last year’s “The Addams Family”-themed Halloween menu, Burger King is throwing it back to old-school fast food Halloween promotions with four new menu items—plus, two new Halloween television advertisements. The 2025 Halloween menu features a Jack-O-Lantern Whopper, Mummy Mozzarella Fries, Vampire Nuggets, and Franken-Candy Sundae.
Much like last year’s purple Wednesday Whopper—and the red and orange “How to Train Your Dragon” burger—the new Jack-O-Lantern Whopper features an orange bun, dyed with natural colors, including paprika. The flame-grilled burger is topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mayonnaise, ketchup, cheese, and bacon.
The Mummy Mozzarella Fries are BK’s classic crispy mozzarella sticks, now available in new Halloween packaging. BK’s new Vampire Nuggets are the chain’s first limited-edition shaped nuggets, with bats and fangs. And the Franken-Candy Sundae is the best of the candy bowl, featuring purple butter toffee-flavored fudge, Oreo pieces, and salted caramel-flavored popping candy in a vanilla soft serve.
BK’s Halloween menu is available for a limited time beginning Sept. 30. The menu items can be ordered together in a meal or à la carte.
I tried the spooky-themed BK items early, and here is my honest review.
My Honest Review of Burger King’s Halloween Menu
Bailey Fink
Old-school fast food Halloween promotions are back in full force—and with Burger King, it’s not just about the packaging. And I’ll admit, the packaging is notably great, from the pumpkin wrapper on the Whopper to the crypt-like nugget carrier.
BK’s dyed Whoppers have practically become a mainstay, but I still love the novelty. The burger itself might be the same (with the addition of bacon and cheese), but the bright orange bun makes it more festive and fun, without detracting from the Whopper’s distinct, delicious flame-grilled flavor.
Much like the Jack-O-Lantern Whopper, the Vampire Nuggets are the same, but the shape makes them that much more enjoyable to eat.
The Franken-Candy Sundae is the only fully new menu item, and it’s certainly a star. The butter toffee flavors lend a caramel, butterscotch flavor that pairs well with the chocolate Oreo wafer and popping candies. It’s a slightly nostalgic flavor that reminds me of Werther’s Originals, but with the exciting addition of Oreo pieces and popping candies.
Burger King has once again hit its Halloween menu out of the park.
