Just in time for Oct. 31, Chili’s Grill & Bar is bringing back a spook-tacular item that sold out in only 20 minutes last fall—so we fans will have to act faster than we can say “Triple Dipper” if we want to try it out for ourselves.

Why dress up as a princess, animal, or superhero when you can be a pop culture icon for Halloween? And no, it’s not a global superstar or celebrity chef—it’s one of Chili’s most popular menu items. As fans gear up for the 2025 holiday, Chili’s Grill & Bar is bringing back one of the hottest Halloween looks yet: the viral Nashville Hot Mozz costume is back.

After selling out just 20 minutes after its 2024 debut, Chili’s is bringing back the two-person “MozzMates” costume so that fans can show off their love of Chili’s (and the famous appetizer) at this year’s frightening festivities.

Inspired by Chili’s Fried Mozz sticks—one of the staples in the chain’s viral Triple Dipper—the new MozzMates costume showcases the iconic cheese pull that’s been all over TikTok for more than a year. In fact, Chili’s sold more than one Triple Dipper appetizer every second—for a total of 41 million Dippers—in its last fiscal year.

“When we saw epic cheese pulls take over TikTok last spring, we jumped on that moment, and the momentum hasn’t slowed,” said Jesse Johnson, Chili’s Vice President of Marketing. “The MozzMates costume was a fan-favorite last year, and we’re excited to give more fans the chance to not only pull the cheese…but be the cheese this Halloween.”

If one night as a Triple Dipper isn’t enough, Chili’s is bringing back its fan-favorite Witches Brew Marg as October’s $6 Marg of the Month to round out the Halloween season. This spooky, limited-edition margarita features tequila mixed with blue curacao and green apple liqueur, plus Chili’s house-made sour mix. Plus, it’s finished with a witch’s broom swizzle stick to amp up the fright factor.

Starting at 11 a.m. EST on Wednesday, Oct. 1, Chili’s fans can snag the MozzMates costume for $75 exclusively at welcometochilis.com. Given that the costumes sold out in 20 minutes in 2024, you may want to set an alarm to grab one online since they’re only available while supplies last. And, let’s face it—the costume is the perfect fit for any duo, whether it’s your best friend, partner, or even your go-to Chili’s date.

Of course, you could always make it a group costume and each dress as one classic Triple Dipper element—after all, it’s not difficult to find a hamburger or chicken tender costume, and I’m sure there’s an eggroll suit out there, too.
