Fall always puts us in a baking mood, and some of our favorite cozy dishes, from breakfast to dinner, come courtesy of the Doughboy. Pillsbury’s ready-to-bake doughs are already staples in our kitchens—soft, pillowy, and reliably quick to rise. But this season, there’s even more to love.
Pillsbury Introduces New ‘Bakes up Bigger’ Collection
Pillsbury is known for delivering festive flavors and seasonal designs this time of year, but its latest launch doesn’t touch on any of those trends. Instead, it’s going bigger—literally—debuting a new line that bakes up bigger than ever before.
The new collection includes three of Pillsbury’s most iconic doughs: crescent rolls, biscuits, and cinnamon rolls, each formulated to bake up higher and heartier. And really, who could complain? The only improvement we could ask for in Pillsbury doughs is more of them.

This upgrade isn’t just about having an extra-large bounty in your bread basket—it’s about taking your best fall recipes to the next level.
The ready-to-bake biscuits, for example, are perfect for turning into oversized breakfast “bagels,” hearty Egg and Cheese Biscuit Bombs, or another helping of dumplings in a pot of chicken and dumpling soup. Plus, they’re bound to take our latest Banana Bread Monkey Bread recipe over the top.
The cinnamon rolls are equally exciting. Our new favorite two-ingredient apple cinnamon roll bake will puff up taller and fluffier than ever expected, and our test kitchen’s favorite bacon swirls will get even more decadent.
And then there are the crescents—the most versatile of the lineup—which seem more than ready to be wrapped around cheese for gooey crescent rounds, baked into a chicken crescent casserole or croissant breakfast pie, or layered into our top-rated Lemon Cream Cheese Bars. Pigs in a Blanket? More like pigs in a down comforter.
If that isn’t enough inspiration, Pillsbury has already shared “Bakes Up Bigger” recipes on its site, including Cinnamon Roll Waffle Dippers and a Cheesy Southwest Chicken Crescent Ring designed to showcase just how much more you get out of these doughs.
So, if you’re ready to roll into fall baking, the Doughboy is here to help you create bigger, cozier creations than ever. Pair them with new baking favorites from McCormick, Nestlé, and Krusteaz, and your fall kitchen will be filled with comfort.
