Doritos Is Releasing a New Limited-Edition Flavor

As we’re entering the ‘ber season (both in temperature and in calendar month), we tend to find ourselves snuggled up on the couch watching new shows and movies—as well as, of course, some seasonal favorites. We don’t know about you, but between binge-watching the next season of “Only Murders in the Building,” rewatching “Wicked” to prepare for “Wicked: For Good”, and countless football games, our pantries need some extra snacks to keep us fueled.

Sure, we’ll take any snacks, but bonus points if they’re on theme with what’s on our screen.

This fall (and winter), the highly anticipated series finale of “Stranger Things” is finally coming to Netflix. Over the years, we’ve seen a few “Stranger Things” collabs, from branded Chips Ahoy! to pizzas. Now, with the hit show coming to an end, many more of our favorite brands are jumping on the “Stranger Things” train before it’s too late. 

Doritos is the latest brand to head into the Upside Down with its all-new Doritos Collisions Stranger Pizza x Cool Ranch chips.

Doritos Launches a New ‘Stranger Things’ Collisions Flavor Inspired by the Upside Down

Doritos Collisions is a line of chips that combine two punchy flavors into one bag—like Dill Pickle and Cool Ranch or Loaded Taco and Nacho Cheese. 

The latest addition to the Collisions lineup features a mashup of the fan-favorite Cool Ranch Doritos and an all-new Stranger Pizza flavor. Cool Ranch Doritos originally debuted in the ’80s, which is also when “Stranger Things” takes place, and have been beloved for nearly 40 years. The zesty, ranchy flavor will pair with one of Doritos’ most highly requested flavors: pizza.

You fans who like to dip your pizza in ranch, this one is absolutely for you. 

The new Doritos Collisions Stranger Pizza x Cool Ranch chips are now hitting shelves nationwide, where they’ll be sold for a limited time. You’ll find the chips in special “Stranger Things”-themed packaging as a 9-ounce and 2.625-ounce bag.

In addition to the new Collisions flavor, Doritos is releasing special glow-in-the-dark “Stranger Things” packaging on the new Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos Minis. Each canister features a glow-in-the-dark design and is filled with bite-sized versions of the fan-loved “purple bag” Doritos.

Both new chips will be joined by limited-edition “Stranger Things”-themed packaging on a slew of other Doritos classics, including the Nacho Cheese, Cool Ranch, Sweet & Tangy BBQ, and Spicy Sweet Chili, as well as four Doritos and Cheetos Minis flavors. 

This new zesty, pizza-ranch combo might just be worth battling Vecna for.
