Reese’s Has a Limited-Edition Collab and We Want It ASAP

Reese’s is known for its iconic combination of creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate flavor. As fans of the candy, we are well familiar with all its delicious innovations, from chocolate-peanut butter-dipped graham crackers and peanut butter pie-inspired treats to seasonal shaped variations, such as its mini pumpkins.

It’s no surprise that so many brands have joined forces with Reese’s over the years to create a peanut butter and chocolate spin on their own items. We’re talking about the Reese’s Oreo Cup and Oreo Reese’s Cookie, Dairy Queen’s Reese’s Caramel Craze Blizzard, and Nothing Bundt Cake’s Reese’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake. Now, the brand has teamed up with a classic ice cream franchise to savor the last moments of summer. 

Carvel Launches New Reese’s Toasted Marshmallow Dasher

The air outside may be getting colder, and glimpses of Halloween might be showing up everywhere, but that doesn’t mean we have to say goodbye to all things summer just yet—at least according to Carvel. The ice cream chain is wrapping up summer with a new lineup highlighting one of our favorite summer treats: s’mores.

The Campfire Treats lineup features several new desserts that build upon the classic chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker combination. But, arguably, the star of the show adds an untraditional ingredient to the mix: Reese’s.

The brand-new Reese’s Toasted Marshmallow Dasher combines toasted marshmallow soft serve with Reese’s peanut butter sauce and chunks of its iconic peanut butter cups. The whole thing is topped with whipped cream and a decadent peanut butter drizzle, creating a sweet and indulgent treat we can’t wait to try.

Here’s a look at the rest of the lineup: 

• Toasted Marshmallow Soft Serve: This sweet take on your favorite campfire snack features Carvel’s original soft serve ice cream, but with notes of caramelized, toasty marshmallow.
• S’mores Scooped Ice Cream: A more classic interpretation of s’mores, this new menu features a scoop of toasted marshmallow ice cream, graham crackers, and ribbons of fudge. 
• S’mores Sundae Dasher: This must-try sundae is made with layers of toasted marshmallow soft serve, crunchy graham cracker crumbles, and fudge, then topped with whipped cream and finished with a drizzle of fudge. 
• Toasted Marshmallow Pop: Carvel’s Brown Bonnet hard shell encases creamy toasted marshmallow soft serve for this dessert on a stick. It’s got a snap and melty ice cream all in one bite, what’s not to love here?
• Toasted Marshmallow Flying Saucers: This treat sandwiches toasted marshmallow soft serve between two chocolate wafers for a s’mores-forward ice cream sandwich.

When Carvel shared the news on Instagram, fans raced to the comments to share their enthusiasm. One person commented, “That Reese’s is calling my name.” Another wrote, “Please don’t ever get rid of the toasted marshmallow soft serve. I can’t live without it.”

The new Campfire Treats lineup is now available at all Carvel locations, but a word of warning: It won’t be sticking around forever. So, head to your local Carvel to try one, or all, of these sweet offerings before they disappear from menus forever.
