M&M’s Is Adding a New Flavor to Its Permanent Lineup

We know there isn’t technically a season for M&M’s (They’re delicious all year.), but we tend to associate the chocolate candies with the cooler months. Maybe it’s because the Red and Yellow M&M’s characters star in one of the most famous holiday commercials with Santa Claus, or simply because we’re finally ready to turn our ovens back on and M&M’s make delicious desserts.

Whatever the reason, now that it’s nearly fall, we’re ready to stock up on all the candy-coated chocolates and filled M&M’s as we can. And, this fall, there will be one additional M&M’s flavor to choose from. 

The Mars Wrigley brand is introducing all-new Honey Roasted Peanut M&M’s—and they’re joining the permanent lineup.

M&M’s Releases New Honey Roasted Peanut Flavor

Peanut M&M’s have long been a fan-favorite in the core M&M’s lineup. And, even though the brand has iterated on its peanut-filled candies before (like last year’s limited-time Toasted Holiday Peanut flavor), there’s only one other peanut M&M’s flavor available all year: Dark Chocolate Peanut M&M’s. 

Now, following the sweet take on the peanut M&M’s during last year’s holiday season, which were made with roasted peanuts infused with cinnamon, vanilla, spiced sugar, and caramel, M&M’s is releasing a new honey-roasted peanut candy. The new Honey Roasted Peanut M&M’s feature M&M’s signature milk chocolate and candy coating filled with an all-new roasted, honey-glazed peanut.

The honey-glazed, roasted peanut adds a slightly sweet flavor to the salty, savory nut that pairs well with M&M’s indulgent milk chocolate. 

M&M’s new candy is rolling out to shelves this month, where it will be sold at retailers nationwide as part of M&M’s permanent lineup. Some fans have already spotted the new Honey Roasted Peanut M&M’s and are raving about the flavor.

“I could do a whole bag of these in a heartbeat,” one Facebook user wrote.

“Yes, hi M&M’s…..could you just send me a pallet full, thanks,” commented another.

On Instagram, fans vowed to “buy them all” from their local store. But the good news is that the new Honey Roasted Peanut M&M’s are sold in a sharing-size bag. So, hopefully, even if M&M’s lovers do wipe your store’s shelves of them immediately, you’ll be able to find a friend to share with.
